Michael Bay's official website posted the below picture sa logo for the current official title of the movie. Its probably just a preliminary one for now. Thanks to Richard for the heads-up.
T2 : ROTF ... wow, i figured a simple transformers 2 would be good, but i guess we could set the mood of the movie that it is going to be a lot of shit going on. Starscream coming back only to find that megatron has been revived, what they are looking for ? who knows, but it will be something good for sure.

Actually Paul, I felt that if they had followed the story of the cartoon Transformers more, the live action Transformers movie would have been better. I said after the first one that the 2nd one should have Megatron come back and kill Starscream and then have a giant all-out robot war, as other Autobots hear Optimus's call and come to earth, while Megatron (or Galvitron) rally what Deceptacons Starscream had gathered.
It is probably refering to the decepticons. but it would also be good for the autobots to be the winners again unless they carry on to a 3rd film. I just want to see Bumblebee kick Barricades a$$
You guys need to rewatch the movie. This movie will obviously be a war between the decepticons. Starscream was the reason for Megs death by hitting him with the missles allowing Sam to put the allspark in his chest. (just my opinion because no military plane will fire missle in an open US city like that). Second thing, Soundwave will be in the movie. Soundwave has never taken orders from Starscream and has always been riding with Megatron so this is where the revenge of the fallen title comes in. Starscream (for supremecy)vs. Soundwave (revenge for Megs).
Starscream wasn't firing missiles at Megatron, what movie were you watching? The humans and the Autobots kicked the crap out of him and Starscream saved his own hide like usual. If Megatron wants Starscream dead it's because he "failed him yet again".

So starscream has broken orbit possibly to retrieve some form of tech that will assist the ressurection of megatron not that a metal based life form would survive pristine chrome at the bottom of the kaymans trough. (salt water!). He also need re-enforcments. Starscream's character development was scarce in the first movie and it seems Megatron gets alot of downtime frozen in a polar ice cap, dumped into an abyssal. I'd be pissed. Hence he title. It's a michal bay movie guys- eye popping, no brainer with some flash editing and fast food acting.Got to love the babes he casts though. Hot nerds everywhere. if only.....
Wow everyone talks about megs being destroyed at the botom of an abyss crushed by pressure..and salt water give me a break..There is more pressure in outer space than at the bottom of the ocean so no way would they be crushed. Missles fromstarscream would be a nice twist on it but I seriously doubt it, even though in the cartoon he was an opportunist looking to get rid of megs if he had the chance.. Other autobots will find there was to earth as described in pieces of the story if anyone ever actually does research they will have the pretenders in this one too. Megs will return as Galvatron as in the cartoon, and stronger than before. Soundwave and maybe even shockwave will be in it. And of course if Galvatron is in it then there has to be unicron as well because he is the one who brought him back.

THe Fallen is an entirely different transformer. He was one of the original thirten transformers and works for Unicron (one of the two god transformers). Unicron created the transformers and The Fallen sided with Unicron in the battle that ensued of good and evil. The Fallen is this character's actual name and he is not Megatron. He is large and constantly on fire.
Unicron did NOT create the transformers. Primus created Prima to maintain his planetary form while he sleeps. Prima then asks primus to create a larger work force and the first 12 transformers are created. 4 of those 12 turned against there creator and aligned with unicron; the fallen was one of those 4. They later became known as the heralds of unicron, a forward expeditionary force to find planets suitable for unicron to consume. Alpha trion was #6 if anyone is curious.
there is no pressure in outer space because there is nothing in space. On the contrary, the pressure is very high at the bottom of the ocean because of the sheer weight of all the water above it. Ever tried carrying a couple of liters of water?
lol i love how the ppl on here rushed to comment without doing research. i guess some people just think they are so smart they have to be the first to comment. the Fallen is a transformer and a very powerful one as one person said a herald of unicron!
I would say that in all likelihood, that title would refer the return of megatron, would it not?
