Dead End Review

The other day toy pictures came out that may or may not part of the TF2 toy line (but doubtful a character in the movie). At first the toy was called Laserbeak but it seems fandom have reached a consensus to call it Dead End. For those still curious, Cybertron.ca's Pascal has posted more images and a review of the toy which you can find here.

  12. So comes the 12th... from the lack of recent posts I'm guessing there is no trailer screened with TDTESS... mucho disappointedo! Tut tut!!

Bay really has missed a trick there 'cos, believe it or not, the Superbowl doesn't get much coverage/hype/viewing (not the biggest fanbase!!) over here in the UK. But what DOES get shown of it... no commercials are aired. As it's shown on BBC (no adverts whatsoever) or Sky (own UK adverts), no US commercials get shown. Becasue of this, not many outside the US will get to see the trailer (tho I'm sure it'll be on the net not long after!!)

And if it is with the Superbowl... then it'll only be 30 seconds long... to say its only being released 4 months before the movei we should at least a 2:00 - 2:30 minute trailer!!

Oh, i bet he doesn't care for the UK, when he can have 90 millions viewers at Superbowl :)

  14. Fair enough... but point wasn't just resricted to the UK, I don't know how well received the Superbowl is in places like Japan and Australia... markets he WILL care about

  15. It's not a revelation that Michael Bay is very much Pro-American. I mean, LOOK at all of his movies and he's got American flags proudly waving or unfurling in the background in slow-motion.

So no, he doesn't give a damn about the UK or Japan or whatever. It's his vision of marketing the movie, not yours. Just sayin' hehehe ^_^
