Skids Alt Mode Gets New Name

Autoblog is reporting that 2010 Chevy Beat, the alt mode of the Autobot Skids, has a new name for its public debut at the Detroit Auto Show (sneak peek here). Beat was the name of the concept car, but now that it is going into production, it is now officially called the Chevy Spark.

  3. I'm sure it's a marketing ploy by Transformers people to get something TF-esque in the name.
