Deluxe Sideswipe, Rampage Bios

TF08.net has provide a few pictures of Deluxe Rampage and Sideswipe in their packaging along with their bios. Of note for Rampage his he is kind of a triple-changer with his "jackhammer mode."

Deluxe Rampage Bio:
The stink of diesel fumes and hot tar follows Rampage wherever he goes. His treads are packed with metal shards stripped from his victims and the countless scratches covering his chassis are testament to hundreds of brutal battles. He lives to pound his enemies into submission and thinks of little else. His idea of beauty is the sight of sun glistening off the raw edges of shredded Autobot armor.
Deluxe Sideswipe Bio:
Sideswipe was built to fight. He is sleek, fast, and accomplished in battle, focusing on his enemy with absolute attention. His blades are a shining blur as he leaps through the air, twisting to avoid enemy fire. Converting from vehicle to robot at blazing speed, he uses every trick in the book to get close to his opponent and put his powerful swords to work.

Also for giggles click here for a look at Robot Heroes Sideswipe. Thanks to Phil for the links.

  3. The more I see of Sideswipe and the more we learn about this Autobot, the more he is turning out to be a great addition to this movie. I already love his car mode and his robot mode is as close to G1 as we may get with this incarnation of Transformers so I'm like come on June, get here already!

  4. Okay so Megatron couldn't be a gun in the first film because that would be silly yet now we have Rampage as a Jackhammer.

Also how come Hasbro designers can make these transformers with three modes yet they couldn't make a supreme sized combining devastator toy with robots that transform. All in all i give Rampage 8/10 and his new form -1/10 giving him a total score of 7/10. Reason: A cool toy although his new altmode is only used to sell the toy.

Sideswipe is by far the coolest Original series - Film version i have ever seen. As long as he doesn't break apart or be impossible to stand up i give him 9/10. Reason: A little less around the back of head would be nice.

Nobody says, that he will use this mode in the movie, it can be only a gimmick made up by Hasbro :P

not the same at all. Having Megs be a gun would require an underling use him in his altmode. A leader that requires an underling to use him is lame. Rampage turning into weapon to possibly be used by his compatriots as Devastator...now that's different (though there is the question of how devastator would use it with him having only one leg that way)

I know nobody has confirmed this new mode however i am still annoyed they keep putting effort into these toys to add another form however they cant make any of them Transform into Devastator and into a separate Robot and vehicle form.

    To Anonymous above:
I know it would be strange having him as a gun due to size changing and all the other complications however Megatrons Jet mode was only used for about 1 minute in the film which comprised of a short transformation at the S7 base and a small flight fight with prime!

I am beginning to believe that when bay said "There will also be transformers who turned into weapons" this is what he meant. I hope we dont see this mode in the film.

Also what happened to the pictures of the other Constructicons we had Pictures of Devastator, All the Vechile modes of the Constructicons, Longhaul and Rampage and yet there are still four other Constructicons.

Also does anyone know whether the tracks on Rampage`s vehicle mode can move, If so i am definitely getting him along as the tracks arent made from stiff or very flimsy rubber.
