Mixmaster Triple-Changer and RPMs

Light toy news today. Voyager Mixmaster, one of the Constructicons, turns out to be a triple-changer according to the instruction manual. Judging by the images (from TFormers), triple-changer might be a stretch as the "battle mode" is a bit underwhelming.

In addition, TFW2005 has posted hi-res images of Wave 2 of the Transformers RPM (Robot Powered Machines) line. From what I can tell they are essentially matchbox type cars in the Transformer vehicle mode and the robot look painted on underneath. The full gallery can be found here. Thanks to Scorpio for the link.

  1. Mixmaster looks good but the third mode is entirely unneccesary like Rampage`s third mode or Soundwaves alternate sattalite form which is just done by rotating the blades.

I love the look of the RPM`s and the look of the robot modes CGI image is also more encouragement i may buy one of these.

I must admit though i am beginning to think Landmine may be in the film because he now has a RPM toy, A deluxe toy and a charecter form in the comics although it is unlikely he will appear. Longhaul fits perfectly into the RPM line although the detail needs work.

  4. Landmine very well be in the movie because Bay said himself that there are a ton of new Autobots and Decepticons that he can't wait to show. This means Laserbeak is still a possibiliy (probably entirely CGI) there are the Transformers that turn into weapons (Targetmasters?) and the AllSpark activated ones so we still have some characters to even know about.

  5. I do not believe Landmine is in the film, Hasbro just need to introduce some characters so kids can buy their crap.
