RSVP For 20 City Transformers 2 Trailer Event (Updated)

Paramount Pictures has released the RSVP e-mails to the 20 city Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer premiere event that will be shown with the first Transformers movie on April 29th. Click the picture below to find out the email address for your city. It is first come, first serve. Thanks to Mcat and lonegamer8 for the info.

Update: I sent an email (below) to sign up for the event and it turns out that the RSVP is just to help judge popularity. To have a chance to get a seat, make sure you arrive to the theatre early to get a good place in line as the "RSVP" does not reserve you a seat.
Thanks for the RSVP for the special screening of TRANSFORMERS. The screening is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY, as this RSVP is to establish an accurate head count and does not guarantee seating. No one will be admitted once the screening begins.

Come to the screening dressed as the coolest/most creative/awesome Transformer ever and be entered to win a trip to the Premiere in Los Angeles!!!!

  1. I bet whoever gets chosen to go actually gets to see RotF in a private early screening! How awesome would that be?

  8. ya but id never dress up like a transformer all do respect and no offense does any one think that Demolisher survives the Shangai seen?

  9. BONECRUSHER ROLLING, i thought you were at least 13 and a half.

called for the event in NY then decided against it when i read "seating is not guaranteed." f that.
wouldn't mind seeing the trailer but i'm not going to be part of some stampede.

  10. ya true anonymous the age thing doesnt mean anything. i called a minute ago for NY but i decided there no point but im 13 in 3 months =)

  11. you shouldnt make that big a deal about missing the trailer, (not saying that anyone is), but its going to be on youtube in 2 hours after he release. and then aventually so will the HD version

  12. I am fortunate enough to be within a few miles of the Sacramento location, so if I get in, great! If not, no big deal.

I don't think that I would even bother going if I weren't so close. Also, it always seems like the people who go to events like this get treated to something more than what they're promised. Should be fun.

  13. teh closest i live to is the big apple but im in NJ

    ReplyDelete
  14. NJ? yuck.

i'm in brooklyn, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle. maybe if they actually show ROTF, i'll be "aw shucks" but if not, i made the right decision.

  15. in ROTF the decepticons refuse to land in NJ.

  16. 12 years old and doesn't wanna dress up like a Transformer? Shoot, I'm 3 times that age and I WANNA dress up!

    But I guess I can't argue with a 12-year-old! hahah

He must be right! Free videos on YouTube! Papa takes out the trash! And dinner made for me by my mom! Easy life, man! Damn! I must be doing something wrong! haha

  17. Correction: "HIS Papa takes out the trash! And dinner made for HIM by HIS mom!"

Yes, we adults have to do everything ourselves!

  18. OK I dunno where I was going with that. Anyway, I'm gonna try to get a good IMAX seat, hopefully I can get there in time since I work way down in Santa Clara. The RSVP is totally sweet icing on the cake.

  19. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-

There is no way Mirage is going to be done by next week.

I think the big guy upstairs hates me.

(Maybe I could bring lots of WIP pictures, and my folder of blueprints? Maybe they'd consider me for being admin of the TF costume forum? Maybe hell will freeze over?)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Pilot: wait, your on the TF Costume forum? That's awesome! I'm still working on a bigass Grimlock for Bot-con and some part of Soundwave for one of my buddies. I hope to see you there?

    ReplyDelete

  24. Haha, that's pretty badass, my friend. Can't wait to see it.

My plan is to have Mirage done by then, but I'm going to have to bust my ass...

But anyways, hey look I'd like to talk to you about something concerning Botcon, so if you don't end up joining the forum, is there any other way I can contact you privately?

  25. Pilot: kyousuke @ mindspring.com Feel free to drop me a line anytime.

I'm going to join the forums this weekend when I collect all my pics together. :) You can find me on Cosplay.com too as "LionBoogy". I think some of your members belong on that site as well.

  30. Off topic, but stumbled across this video interview of Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci talking about the movie. No new info, but confirms that The Fallen is above Megatron in rank.

  33. those are for kids books, not movie posters

it appears to be the standard ROTF clip art we have already seen likely from their styleguide with brighter kid friendly backgrounds.

look on the rest of the site and you can see the book covers themselves for junior novels and sticker books.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^
It was already confirmed they are movie posters because they were inside a comic book about films when found.

Oh almost forgot. Even if they arent Movie posters there should still be a topic about them.

  37. To LionBoogy & Pilot: You guys rock! I'm 31 and from The Netherlands and I saw your(LionBoogy) Bumblebee costume on internet, that's so friggin' awesome man!!!! Unfortunate we don't have something like Botcon in Holland, only a collectors evention once a year for everything. Dirk Benedict was there last year, that was awesome. I'm looking forward to see your new costumes on the internet.
