Bay Honored By Transformers Inventor

MichaelBay.com reports that while in Japan for the world premiere of Transformers: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the director was honored with a Transformer statue for his work with the franchise. The statue was given to him by the father of the Transformers Koujin Ohno. What you see on the status is the G1 Optimus Prime from 25 years ago standing with his movie counterpart.

  1. That's so awesome! Shows how good his movies turned out regardless of stupid people who like to pick at movies and not just watch and enjoy them.

  2. Well, Michael Bay is getting old pretty fast shooting these complex movies.. really he looks a lot older now than when Transformers got released and it's just a two years time window. He must be pretty stressed.

  3. I agree with you, that's why he's taking a break after the second movie is released.
