Devastator Size Comparison

Thanks to TFG2; here is an image that compares the size of Devastator with its component parts to give you an idea of the scale for each. Sadly High Tower was not "cloned" in the movie so no robot mode exists. Of note is it appears that Long Haul may get a toy release.

  2. I dont know if this is true but ive heard that the voyager class Long Haul and Grindor will be released the 20th of this month. Leader Jetfire on the 24th and Deluxe Jolt and The Twins on the 27th. Im hoping these are the correct releases too. Let me know if im way off on these.

  3. God it was so disappointing not to see the constructicons personalities and actually seeing them all in their glory. There was no robot mode for High Tower. Lazy and sloppy work Michael Bay.

I think what the author really wanted to say was that maybe SCRAPPER or OVERLOAD (not Long Haul) may get a toy release.

  8. Yeap.. Long Haul will be released as a Voyager figure.. The question is.. Will Scrapper be released as a toy? There seems to be no news about it.. I want Scrapper!

They do. Onlu Long Haul looks to be bigger then his alt mode is. Then again, his alt mode MUST be the same size like Rampage, because they both are Devastator legs... So i guess, they dropped the "no mass shifting" thing for Long Haul :P

  11. why is demolisher in that list? prime and ironhide killed him in the first 15 minutes of the movie and he wasn't part of devestator.

    Another continuity mishap.
    shame really.

  12. Something is seriously wrong with Long Haul's vehicle and robot sizes.

First off; yeah, he should be the same (or similar) size to Rampage, because of Devastator's legs and second; he is no bigger than Starscream (remember the scene with the Decepticons hunting Sam and Mikaela?) so his robot should be a lot smaller compared to that human with him.

  15. agree.. long haul should have been smaller in the chart. i think the artist made a mistake there.

remember tomy-takara's ez version of legends devastator? high tower has an alt mode (claws for hands and wheels for the leg). but of course, it was not shown in the movie.

  16. To all the people confused by the whole "but I thought Optimus killed Demolisher in the beginning" thing, here is the answer. Scavenger is the name of the Terex vehicle that made up Devastator, he was supposed to have the same robot and vehicle mode as Demolisher. The difference was their color. Demolisher was white with some red trim, while Scavenger is red with some white trim. The image above is actually colored as Scavenger, as is the toy.

I am curious about the robot mode above Overload though. Is that supposed to be his actual robot mode? I haven't seen any art of it before.

Wish Overload and Hightower would have been given robot modes in the movie, if they are going to go for nothing but awesome visuals can't hurt to have a little more variety.

  17. Does anyone have any idea or images about Scrapper and Hightower coming out in either Deluxe class or Voyager class? Haven't heard anything about them at all except a robot picture that showed up here for Scrapper. Really ashame they didn't show all the constructicons in their respective robot modes, hopefully they make sure the robots of interest get alot more character development than in ROTF.

It's not his official robot mode. Takara just made it up for the toy. Just like Scorponok doesn't have robot mode in the movie, but Hasbr/Takara decided to give him one, so the toy would be more fun, and actualy a transformer.
