Revenge Passes First Movie in Worldwide Gross

After the release of Monday's box office numbers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has passed its predecessor in worldwide gross total with $711.6 million to Transformers $708.3 million and did it in only 20 days. At this rate it does appear the movie will cross the $800 million worldwide total threshold but not get much further than that. What impact Harry Potter 6 will have should be interesting since both movies are after essentially the same audience on HP6 is getting much better reviews over all (95% rating).

TF1 vs. TF2 (in millions)

  4. I just saw it in Imax last night. I always thought the robot form of Jolt wasnt in the movie, but there is a blink and youll miss it glimpse. Jolt is the one who begins the electrifying process to get Prime outfitted with Jetfires parts! He throws out those power cords after (i believe its Rachet) says "Jolt, electrify!!!" I never caught that before and going off the comments that I've heard before, I dont think alot of people realize this....or am I one of the few that caught this?

  7. Well, there is still some momentum going. there were about 40 people or so at the IMAX last night...despite all the dorky lookin Harry Potter costumes out in the hallway...on a tuesday night too.

  9. They should have put more screen time for jolt and sideswipe. Jolt is also in the background of the scene where the military points there guns at the autobots, and that government guys 'fires' Josh Duhamel.
