Transformers 2 Blu-ray/DVD Release on October 24th?

Blu-ray.com has a listing for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen that seems to indicate an October 24th release date for the Blu-ray and DVD disc release of the movie. This has not been officially confirmed by Paramount but the first movie was released on October 16th, 2007 so there is precedent for the quick turnaround. Thanks to Mauricio for the link.

  15. I own three different copies of the first movie. But the TF2 sucked so bad I refuse to own a copy of it, unless they come out with a Renegade version like was done for Highlander2 that changes the story so that its actually good and fixes some of the plot holes. TF2 worst movie this year and a terrible follow-up to the first.

  18. That wouldn't be an appropriate movie release date. I worked in retail and learned that new movies are always release in stores on a Tuesday and Games are released always on a Thursday. So Transformers would be released either on the 20th or the 27th, not the 24th.

  19. Well I'm going to stand up and be counted as the oldest person to watch T1 and T2 (I'm 54) and can't wait for DVD release. Can I still watch DVD with all the extras on an ordinary HD TV?
Brilliant films, brilliant music, I don't understand all the rubbish comments - the work that's gone into these films is tremendous - why can't you just enjoy it for what it is - pure escapism!! All hail Bumblebee.....

  21. Only stupid people like this movie. This is one of the worst movies of all time. Why does Michael Bay get to keep making movies? This movie sucked so bad that it made me enjoy watching Soul Plane. Michael Bay needs to get fired, it is the only way to save this franchise.
