Transformers: DOTM Voice Cast

Now that the movie has been released, IMDB.com has now been updated with the official cast list, likely direct from Paramount. While a movie is in production, the cast list can be hit and miss in accuracy because it is community edited information. Once the movie comes out, usually the studios will provide the official info which is why IMDB has the dual reputation of being reliable and not reliable all at the same time. A notable subtraction from the list is Mark Ryan who is not listed as being the voice of Bumblebee. In the movie they completely relied on movie lines for his voice. The main additions include Reno Wilson who voiced Mudflap in ROTF and did Brains in DOTM and Shockwave who had a line in the film (and grunts) via the voice of Frank Welker. Below is the full list. Thanks to Feris Othman for verifying the cast.

Peter Cullen - Optimus Prime
Hugo Weaving - Megatron
Leonard Nimoy - Sentinel Prime
Frank Welker - Soundwave and Shockwave
Robert Foxworth - Ratchet
Jess Harnell - Ironhide
Charles Adler - Starscream
Tom Kenny - Wheelie
Ron Bottitta - Roadbuster
John Di Maggio - Leadfoot
Keith Szarabajka - Laserbeak
George Coe - Que/Wheeljack
Francesco Quinn - Dino/Mirage
James Remar - Sideswipe
Reno Wilson - Brains
Greg Berg - Egor

  3. Not a biggie but pretty sure it was Igor..

And Igor is most likely that little Decepticon guy.

  7. Shockwave had one line. Other than that he just growls. Egor was that strange little Decepticon that I thought was just a tad to astray from the ideal transformer design. And sadly, there wasn't any Silverbolt in the film.

  8. Egor is a head looking thing that serves Megatron, appears only in a few short bits.

  9. Shockwave speaks, but only a few lines, no Silverbolt that i could see, Mirage and Wheeljack are actually Dino and Que. And the Wreckers were a surprise, because of the controversy about them looking like "redneck Nascar fans stereotypes" (Not that noticeable in the movie), they speak with Scotish or Irish accents, not stereotypical at all.

  11. There is no silverbolt / James Avery... - could have had a small role that'd been cut for unknown purposes.

  13. The end credits in the film do say "Q/Wheeljack". Didn't notice if it was "Dino/Mirage" though.

  14. AARRGGHH!!! Sideswipe was voiced by Andre Sogluzzio in ROTF and they replace HIM?! I don't know why they would do such a thing. When I see the movie, Sideswipe better sound at least SIMILAR to ROTF, because he sounded epic!

  15. I wonder why michael bay had to use diffrent names for mirage and wheeljack. Is he trying to create his own transformers?ther are still tons of transformers that are not in the movie. And he is creating new ones as if they ran out of characters.

  16. you sure egoe isnt actually "brains'...at one point wheelie and him cross the screen ( don't know if its in the ship or near epps car), but brains is hunchback and walks with a limp just like frankensteins igor. just a thought.
