IDW August Transformers Comics

IDW Publishing has released their publishing plans for August. A total of four comics and two trades are being released that month. The theme for the month is Dinobots Month with covers to mark their return to the comics. If you are interested in the books, just let your local comic book store know. For the full details of IDW's other books including GI Joe, Star Trek, Locke & Key, and more click here.

On a related note, if you are interested in playing catch up to the Marvel Transformers series that ran from about 1984 to 1990 for 80 issues and "restarted" with IDW's Regeneration series, then hit up ComiXology via tablet or online as they have started posted the run digitally. Only the first dozen or so are available online or three volumes of "trades" that does a poor job of specifying which issues are collected so hard to tell if good deal or not. Give it a look see if interested but recommend a pass for now until the volumes provide useful information or get a better idea if most or all of the 80 issue run will be made available.
