Tyrese Gibson Game for Tranformers 4

While at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last week, Transformers' Tyrese Gibson told MovieHole he is up for Transformers 4 (video below). So far Shia LaBeouf is out but past that it seems to be up in the air on who could return. The producers have indicated a desire to do a reboot of sorts but since Michael Bay and Ehren Kruger are back, it is possible they could just continue the story, do a prequel, tell a story set in between one of the movies or any other combination. Ultimately its Bay's call and I doubt he is worrying about those details until next year after Pain and Gain is out.

    1. Are you dumb and blind? We want the fourth film to be a sequel! There are lots of other characters we did not see yet and we want them to be seen transforming into vehicles and aircrafts while the plot takes place after Dark of the Moon!

    2. I think Bay should base TF4 off of the G1 movie except we keep the origanal movie autobots. Losing Ironhide and the Twins, the twins were origially going to be killed by Sentinel if it would have made it to the final cut, was enough. Having a sequel would be good because we would see new decepticons and autobots but a prequel would be good because then we could be introduced about a few days before the cybertronian war and then to the destruction of cybertron but you hold a good point anonymous person considering the fact that if they were to make a prequel then at the end it would just be like, "ok now go watch the 2007 movie to understand the rest

    3. Yes he did and he did a great job. I ain't a MB basher by any means. I enjoy most of his movies, who doesn't love a good action flick. The problem is that he and the writers changed too much. I grew up on He-man and Transformers. I was never into Comics, yet I find myself enjoying the Marvel movies a whole lot more. They didn't try to reinvent the wheel (or new characters). There are decades of stories to be brought to life and that is exactly what they did with Avengers. They simply told the stories that were already there. That is all he needed to do with Transformers. The flash and flare is all good, but I find myself fast forwarding through parts now when I watch them again. There are enough Transformer characters in the Transformers Universe that they don't need the over bearing human element.

Ooh TFLAMB, I think your wrong. I'll bet Bay is already worring about those details, bc the story is in early stages as we speak.
I'm betting Bay, Kruger, Spielberg allready come together once in a while to challenge idea's.
If they have to write the story next year, there is too short a time for a june/july 2014 release. It takes 2 years to make a TF movie, not 1 year. The first half year is storywriting and conceptdrawing.
As soon as Pain and Gain is released, they'll go in on production of TF4.

  6. It's time for Kruger and Bay to quit the franchise.
Transformers3 was Michael Bay worst movie to date.
Transformers4 he is going to do it even worse because he doesn't care anymore. He just wants his big fat check and that's it.
It's like James Cameron that only wants to produce and direct more Avatar movies, as long as millions of people give him billions for the awful Avatar.

  7. Glad to hear Tyrese Gibson is back

But lets not bet on prequels

they are a complete waste of entertainment!

We want the fourth film to be an absolute SEQUEL!!

  8. I'm sure he's "game". Lets face it all of the previous trilogy's actors and actresses will go through negotiations. Bay wants his familiar stars back because it means diehards will come back. All their handlers and the film's creators like the oh-so honest Don Nelson and even Bay himself can say otherwise for the next 2 years. And sadly this is going to continue to be the case as has been for the past 2 movies right up until they start filming.

Or Bay gets pissed at Shia drops him for Andrew Garfield.

  9. Andrew Garfield the one that killed the Spider-Man franchise along with Marc Webb the no-experience director?

  10. It's time to bring more characters in and do away with the human element. Just my two cents, I hope the bring Prowl in (Mclaren mp4-12c), and i'd love to see Trailbreaker, Sunstreaker and at least Hound. Here's to hoping.
