Wahlberg Passes on Dinobots Question

In an interview with MTV to promote his latest movie, Transformers 4 lead Mark Wahlberg decided to duck the question on if the Dinobots are in the movie. It seems like he has been told to say nothing about the film because once again, the only thing he would describe is his role as a father in the film.
When MTV News' Josh Horowitz sat down with Wahlberg and Denzel Washington to talk about their new movie "2 Guns," the topic of Dinobots came up, and things got heated pretty quickly. "None of your business," Wahlberg said, responding to a question of whether he has encountered any Dinobots. "You don't want me to get replaced halfway through production for divulging secrets."

So perhaps there is something to the rumor, considering how tight-lipped Wahlberg got at first mention of the Dinobots. Prodding further, Horowitz asked what the Dinobots are. "You know what it is," he said. "Don't question my geek. I can out geek you."

Moving onto non-Dinobot related "Transformers" talk, Wahlberg confirmed that the new installment feels unlike anything that has come before it, thanks in part to the character he has taken on. "It feels like a completely different movie, very fresh," he said. "Obviously, it's a really interesting dynamic, being a young, single dad having a teenage daughter, trying to succeed as an inventor, having very little means and also trying to provide for my family. Then all hell breaks loose."
The actor also popped up on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to promote his film. He spoke about his four children, ages 3 to 9, who got to visit one of the TF4 sets.
“They [his kids] came to the set. They were in the new Optimus Prime. It was the first time they were actually excited about me being in a movie, and they actually want to be in the movie, so I had to ask Michael Bay. I’m like, “Dude, can you put my kids in the movie?” So he gave them an impromptu audition…they’re all going to be in the movie.”

Mark Wahlberg added, “They’re really excited. They’re going to come back…probably in Chicago. They’ll probably shoot in Chicago.”

  1. He probably had to sign an NDA that stipulated that he can't talk about the Dinobots, or he'll get fired and sued by Bay and Co. . . . .

Does anybody hear him say "INVENTOR" !! So he's not just a simple car mechanic!
That is an important thing, we have not heard yet. Maybe he invents something important.

I'm not keen on him wanting and getting his damn kids in the movie. WTH does that have to with the story??? I hope that scene gets cut from the film and is the extra's on the blu-ray.
Otherwise I hope Michael Bay thinks of something very, very small, that works in the film, comedywise.
But I'm not happy on these kind of 'demands' Wahlberg asks.
