ET Transformers 4 Reporting Coming Tuesday, Prelude to First Theatrical Trailer Release?

Looks like if you bet that the first trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction would be attached to 300: Rise of the Empire. Good thing I didn't take that bet as I figured an R-rated movie wouldn't stand a chance of being the debut movie. This has not been officially confirmed but ET has just released a teaser (below) for the TF4 report that will air on Tuesday with "all new scenes". Since ET is part of the promotional arm of Hollywood, they wouldn't air this unless the plan is to release the first theatrical trailer either that day or a few days later.

Speaking of that trailer, the Paramount Pictures International YouTube channel has started their pre-prep by creating a new playlist with the first listing labeled as "Transformers: Age of Extinction -- Teaser Trailer". Don't bother trying to find it as the video is not yet posted for the public and the playlist is apparently on visible on some mobile devices. The 2 minute 22 second length of the PG rated trailer doesn't really suggest "teaser" so slightly confusing but the label is really semantics anyway.

  2. The CGI rendering looks far from good yet... at ILM they need to increase details, improve lights and shadows a lot... The rendering on the frames from the fist theatrical trailer are from well polished.. it seems that they are far behind schedule this time...
When the first Pacific Rim trailer got released with CGI by ILM the CGI rendering quality was already top-notch.

  3. I must agree, I love my Transformers but WOW!! Pacific Rim had some of the best CGI I ever seen, just awesome. The first Transformers movie's CGI was awesome, top notch. Lets hope they clean it up , still looks a little cartoonish. But still siked!!!

  4. They will. Michael Bay and ILM has put a lot of effort in, film after film, to insure the greatest of quality behind cgi and I'm sure he/they will not let us down!!! 4 more months peeps!!!

  5. Tfcollect:I would expect that this time around the cgi would be much more detailed I mean, they had much more time to prepare for this exclusive. I can't wait, I'm excited and hype up for this premier release. I'm am without a doubt going to find myself with family in tow at the theaters to see 300. I loved the first feature film and had expected I would be a follow up. Just hope they don't do that Trojan Horse bit. Lol. Anyway I'm preparing myself the same as you all are. Transformers Rock!!!!

  8. CGI is one thing you don't have to worry about with a Michael Bay film.

  9. @Anonymous3/03/2014 7:56 AM: you should think twice before attacking people .. For the Pacific Rim movie the CGI is by ILM too. Fact is that since the first Pacific Rim trailer the CGI was already very well polished. And the final rendering on the movie was the best ever done by ILM. That is a fact, no matter what anyone can say on the 'net. On this first Transfromers4 first trailer instead they clearly are well behind schedule...the CGI is not that good .. will it improve? Maybe. But with just 2 or 3 months of work left it's unlikely that it will be better than that on Pacific Rim.

  10. I have to agree again, I don't know if they can get it up to snuff like Pacific Rim was, that CGI was real good and ready for prime time. We all see soon enough.
