MTV has a little fun with the Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, John Malkovich, and Patrick Dempsey as they attempt to answer the question of which three robots they would f**k, marry or kill. Rosie was given options of C3P0, Terminator and Bicentennial Man. The men had to choose from Rosie from Jetsons, Eva from Wall-E, and Number 6 from Battlestar Galactica. While Rosie seemed mostly lost, Shia had the most fun with the question while the other two made the most of a weird but amusing question.

Stills from Dark of the Moon & Chicago Comparisons (Updated 2)
Yahoo! Movies has posted 8 new stills from Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Most focus on the human characters but not all. Sadly the image sizes are not that big but still some cool shots. Thanks to Brendon for the link.
Speaking of still images, Jeff of Pixel Rally has posted more images from the Chicago set from when a lot of those stills were filmed. He also put together a comparison shots from the trailers & TV spots with what his camera captured last year. One of his observations is the building that gets squashed by the 100% CGI glass building (it was "built" on the neighboring empty lot) was changed between trailers, "they've made it look like there's a patio table instead of a person, and changed the styling of the building itself." He also has an image of Shia attacking a blue head while in Chicago which thanks to the TV spots we now know is Starscream so Jeff did a little Photoshop to the image to make the case. The comparison images are below, the full larger sized gallery can be found here.
Update Two need comparison images added by Jeff. One shows the "Power Glove" which actually appears to be a safety contraption as he swings around so can be "caught" by Bumblebee. The other gives you an idea of how cardboard face can be come more with Michael Bay and ILM doing their magic.
Update 2: Jeff, who was on site at the time it was filmed, argues that the glove is not a safety device, but "I think it shoots some grappling hook that Sam uses to climb up on the Decepticon, rides on it's head as he attacks it, and falls off, at which point Bumblebee catches him. There's other shots where the Josh Duhamel stunt double is trying to cut Sam free from the cable, and maybe he succeeds, so that's when they fall and Bumblebee skids in, Transforms, runs up the wall and saves them." He then provided a college to show the sequence of events (last pic below).

1st Clip From Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Yahoo! Movies has posted the first clip from Transformers: Dark of the Moon titled "My Secret Weapon" as "Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whitely) introduces Sam (Shia LaBeouf) to her boss (Patrick Dempsey)." Thanks to Ryan and sp00ked_yuh for the link.

Teaser Poster, More Explosions, and Galleries from Weekend
Transformers 3 production continued this weekend in Chicago, most of it focused on State Street and Wacker Drive. Before get to that, here is a much better look at the Transformer 3 teaser poster made for the convention circuit that debut back in June. The image was tweeted by EleOcho but not sure from what convention. Info found via TFormers.Back to the filming, Pixel Rally has posted more images from the Shia vs. Patrick fight sequence that is being filmed at Wabash and Wacker Drive. Below are sample images that from the set that has Sam wielding a steel rod with clear intent to use it indicating a vicious, mean fight for survival. The full gallery of images can be found here. PopSugar also has a gallery from the same scene filming.

This brings us to the weekend action at State Street and Wacker Drive that has a bus exploding and most of the male cast apparently involved in a firefight. The image to the right is an ornamental spire on a building at the location. This seems to match the debris that Shia and Patrick are fighting on. That image along with the 1st video below comes from a set report posted on Seibertron.com that provides a little first witness testimony along with pictures of Josh, Tyrese and Bay at work. The second video shows a bus exploding into two halves as soldiers open fire on a probable Decepticon. Another video of the sounds of the firefight and images can be found at the Movie Chronicles. If you need a Transformers vehicle fix, the last two videos below), also found by the site gives you a nice close up look at The Wreckers and Optimus Prime as they leave their storage location.

Dempsey's Character's Job, More Rollbar and Behind the Scenes (Updated)
In a new article with the Herald-News, Patrick Dempsey revealed "my character is a race-car drive...". He also mentioned after next week he will be returning to Los Angeles "to shoot the second episode of Grey's (Anatomy)." This suggests to me that his work on the film may be completed then. I guess Transformers 3 production loaded the front of the schedule with his scenes to free him to return to the television show. Nothing else is revealed as the focus was on his visit to the Autobahn Country Club to look at the race-car collection they have. The article is here, image gallery is here. Thanks to Chris and Ray for the TFW2005 with the article links.Next is another behind the scenes video from Swggrwag0n. His first one proved the security truck was a Decepticon and showed some of the prep that gets done to put a scene together. Part 2 continues that from "Hotchkiss Gould Investments" aka the local 7/11 on Wacker. The scene seems to involve a little crowd panic as police and firefighters respond to probable TF related chaos. Thanks to Sam for the link.
For whatever reason a week old video about Rollbar that was first posted on Seibertron and here is making the rounds as new, such as on Trailer Addict. Having said that, turns out MischiefChavez has posted a second video this time with a piece of heavy artillery in the back that is probably perfect for a scene with NEST soldiers.
Last, but not least, a reminder that Van Buren Street will be closed from Monday to Wednesday as Transformers 3 production moves to the Old Post Office. The production will be working from 7AM to 10PM with the expectation of pyrotechnics going off. Thanks to ZzTopeurope for the reminder.
Update: Added 3rd video below that breifly shows Rollbar driving by on his huge wheels. (via the Movie Chronicles)

Dempsey Has Gun, Will Travel (Update)
Just in case a video of a fight between the two characters of Patrick Dempsey and Shia LaBeouf isn't enough proof that "Dylan" (rumored name) isn't on the side of angels, how about pictures of him pointing a gun at the character thanks to Johnny T. This is a guess but I think the gun is what leads to the fight as nothing like Transformers attacking to distract you from a target.

Behind the Scenes Videos Confirms A Decepticon, New Enemy and Locations
The 7/11 location is also the same location of the pictures with Patrick Dempsey looking dangerous with a gun. As the second video shows, he is not a friend of Shia's Sam Witwicky since the two seem to be duking it out on top of the debris which matches with the other pictures of the two climbing on roof debris as Shia lays out on the ground and Dempsey looks into the air. The last video is what any video set for Transformers 3 needs - an explosion. That was filmed at The Park at Lakeshore East a day or so ago.
The last bit of news is info on where to find TF3 production which is scheduled to end on August 19th. According to the On Location Vacation an upcoming location is "at 35 E. Wacker Drive (the old Jewelers' Building) and will close portions of Wabash and Wacker on July 31 and August 1st." The site also provides a few details on Ron Howard's The Dilemma which will be filming in the city. Thanks to Sam for armored car link, Chris for the fight video link and Ray for the explosion and location links.
Dempsey in Action, Rollbar and More
Transformers 3 production is about to enter week four of production in Chicago. This update covers a rather wide range of topics with two photo galleries, another look at Rollbar, and info on next week's location. To start with, one of locations for next week. Thanks to Tatjana, it seems that production will be at the Old Chicago Post Office Building off of Van Buren Street (and across the river from Wacker Drive). This is the same location used in the opening scenes of The Dark Knight. The shoot there will be from Monday to Wednesday from 7AM to 10PM. The shoot will require surrounding streets to be closed and will involve pyrotechnics. So back to where we have been, JustJared.com has posted more photos of the cast at working, with special focus on Patrick Dempsey who seems to be in full bad@#% mode. I can't tell the location but might be the same Wacker Drive set with the rooftop debris. It makes me wonder if what is being filmed there isn't the two versus a Transformer but those two fighting each other. An anonymous source tells me the character might be named Dylan and JustJared suggests that the rumors of the character being "dark" is true as he was seen "aiming a gun at his co-star Shia LaBeouf." The expressions in some of these photos suggest this might be a bad guy in disguise. I keep thinking the story involves a third faction that just sees all Transformers as enemies, based in part on the "Autobots Go Home" graffiti used on some of the sets. Some more photos below, the rest of the 20+ picture set can be found here.
As we learned yesterday, it seems that the Autobots have a new ally with Rollbar. Also below are three images that show off the vehicle, including the interior. I have to admit to being confused on what the photos are for but they provide an idea of just how large the Jeep is. Thanks to Todd for the pictures.

More Wacker Drive Set, Videos and a New Transformer?
Transformers 3 production continues at Wacker Drive in Chicago and based on recent images it is a scene that mostly involves Patrick Demsey, Shia LaBeouf and probably a Transformer or two. Below is a sample of photos from a 56 photo set from the location as the two actors climb and lay down among the debris while Bay does his thing. Not sure what is being filmed but seems like a hero moment for Dempsey's character. The set was taken by a Transfan that managed to sneak onto the set. The full set can be found at The Chive. Thanks to Mackie for the link.Monday, July 19, 2010
TF3 Chicago: More Explosions and Pictures
I had already posted pictures and videos from Transformers 3 filming on Sunday around the Michigan Avenue Bridge in Chicago but here is even more. The fireball to the left was posted by the Chicago Tribune as part of their coverage. They also posted the second video at the bottom that shows off filming. In the article, some of the action that was filmed was described including more base jumping.Earlier in the day, onlookers got a glimpse of a different kind of stunt — the kind that involves people jumping off of the 92-story Trump Tower. The five base jumpers taking part in the scene soared over the Michigan Avenue Bridge and onto North Wacker Drive, making what most would find terrifying look easy. Cameras shot the jumpers from the top of nearby buildings, including the Tribune building.
Later on in the afternoon, military-looking men, one of whom appeared to be cast member Tyrese Gibson, were filmed sprinting into the Tribune with guns in hand yelling “Let’s go!” and “C’mon!”
LaBeouf filmed the same scene he shot on Friday — he holds Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s hand and runs for cover behind a flipped over vehicle — only this time a few of the piled up cars in front of the bridge were on fire. The co-stars also filmed on the stairs that lead to the riverwalk from the side of the bridge.
Thanks to Colin Hinkle we once again have more great pictures and a video from the set. The images show Shia, Josh, Rosie, Tyrese, Bay and more doing their movie thing. We got shots of the Nascar vehicles and other Transformers. The 1st video below from Colin is a combination of the footage he caught of the cast and crew at work. It’s worth watching to the end to watch the pyrotechnics going off with cars being jerked down the street. Overall, a nice day of boom if you were in the Chicago area. Amazingly enough despite all the carnage when you check @ktgeek's live stream, the entire mess has already been cleared away.

TF3 Chicago: Bay Thanks Chicago and More
Thanks to Jonnyroobs and his friend Ed for the pictures below that includes a look at the sets and more shots of the Transformers vehicles. Below that is a video of the live streams as they show some of the filming that occurred close by. Thanks to Shockwaved for the video link. Last, Seibertron.com has posted more images and two videos that show off the various vehicles and confirm that NEST have a truck as a mobile command center.
CBS Chicago was able to get close with Michael Bay and some of the cast and they gave a thank you to the city for putting up with the traffic problems the filming has caused for the city. Bay also revealed that Chicago is the setting for the final battle of the film. Does that mean any missing characters died in the course of the movie?

Cast Images from Milwaukee TF3 Shoot
Day 1 of 2 has ended for the Transformers 3 shoot at the Milwaukee Art Museum. As previous reported, several cast members were spotted on the scene but it turns out one of them was not Bumblebee or at least I hope not. Thanks to "juise" from the TFW2005 forums, we have photos that show Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Patrick Dempsey and Michael Bay at work in front of the museum, aka "Hotchkiss Gould Investments", as they film a scene involving broke down 1972 yellow Datsun 510.
I assume the place is where Rosie's character works along with Dempsey's character that was probably reassigned as her boss after Fox's departure from the film. As for the 'Bee-ish car, I have no idea but in the second film he was getting a bit sick of the Transformers drama so might make sense he wanted his own, non-Transforming car while Bumbleebee worked as part of NEST. Juise also put together a slick stop motion video (below) from his photos that show a bit of the scene that they were filming. More pictures can be found here. Thanks to Mike G. for the heads-up.Update:TFW2005 has more pictures via Flickr. Also click here for another video of a scene being filmed.

Transformers 3 At the Milwaukee Art Museum
After an action packed weekend of filming in Chicago, Transformers 3 production takes a brief break to head to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to film scenes at the Milwaukee Art Museum today and tomorrow. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has a brief report from the location including an image of Shia LaBeouf at the set. Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Michael Bay, theBumblebee Chevy and possibly Patrick Dempsey have also been spotted at the location.Fox6 News has a news report about the Chicago filming and the TF3 crew prepping the location from Sunday. It is a closed set so unlikely will get quite the look at filming that we all enjoyed from Chicago.
Updates: Changes made to make the article present tense since filming started today (I was thinking it started Tuesday) and include the newspaper article info with picture.

More Transformers 3 in Chicago Videos, Pics (Updated)
More videos from Transformers 3 in Chicago have popped up on YouTube, this time showing off pretty much all the vehicle Autobots including a great look at Optimus Prime with his trailer (1st video below). A series of them from zztopeurope shows a birds-eye view of all the Autobots as they travel down a battle damaged road with Jolt the Chevy Volt (2nd video) or a Mercedes E class. It’s unclear if the Nascar vehicles are with the Autobots or being chased by the Autobots. The main reason I am not convinced the cars are Autobots is the prominent display of weapons which would be a Decepticon tendency. More links to videos below. Thanks to Katie and CypherXR for the links. The image to the right is from Jonnyroobs (thanks!) that shows more battle damage. It was taken around 6pm central along Clark Street about a block from Daley Plaza. He reports that he heard a scene being filmed that involved about 30 seconds of explosions.
Update: CBS2 Chicago has a news report (or 3rd video below) from the set that shows some pyrotechnics going off along with a brief interview with Patrick Dempsey who is starting his first day on the production. Thanks to Ann for the link.

McDreamy Joins Transformers 3 Cast (Updated)
First it was Jamie Kennedy and now a new casting rumor has Grey's Anatomy's Patrick Dempsey (aka McDreamy) joining the cast of Transformers 3.The information comes from an interview with the actor by Bol Noticias, a Brazilian website. The Google translation indicates that when asked what his next movies are Dempsey responded, ""Flypaper," I start filming later this month, and "Transformers 3", which play a character that is far more "dark" than others."
One interpretation of "dark" is that Dempsey has been cast in a villain role of some sort. No idea if that means a human character or a Transformer voice role. Thanks to Aaron for the link.
Update: EW's Hollywood Insider has confirmed with Paramount Pictures that Patrick Dempsey has been cast as a human character in Transformers 3. He "will Megan Fox’s boss in a role that is 'significant to the plot'." Thanks to TigerClaw for the link.
