Sector 7: Agent X Email

A couple of weeks ago, it was discovered that ebucehtdnif.ws("Find the Cube") was part of the Sector 7 mystery game that is currently going on. The site was setup by Agent X to reveal the names of the 7 founders of S7 along with an email address to show solidarity to "X". I sent an email to "Agent X" to see what would happen. This afternoon, the his first email was sent encouraging people to spread the evidence to a buzznet website.
Date: Tue, 03 Apr 2007
Subject: STOP SECTOR 7
From: "Agent X"
To: "X"
You have proclaimed your willingness to expose Sector Seven. Now the time has come for action. The truth must be revealed to the public. It's all around them, but they fail to see it. Only by amassing all of the evidence in a single place can we hope to convince the world that non-biological entities are hidden among us.

Seek out relevant data on unidentified aerial phenomena, as well as robots far too advanced to have been created by humans. Post what you find on this public site:
buzznet.com/groups/stopsectorseven
But be warned, just as you have dedicated yourself to my cause, others out there have become servants of Sector Seven. They will try to stop you. You must persist, even in the face of their seemingly limitless power. Sector Seven's policies will doom us all. You are the only hope for Earth.

X
Clicking the above link, brings you to a buzznet "Stop SectorSeven.org" site that has a forums, videos, photos and other things to play with. One video of interest is the "extended" cut of the Mars rover in B&W that was used in the first teaser trailer from last year. Not sure if its fan made or not. From what I can tell the site is modeled after conspiracy/UFO websites where people gather to submit and discuss their "evidence".

Think of it as a playground. From the looks people have posted photoshopped pics of TFs being spotted above bridges, in clouds, etc. Frankly I am too lazy to go through all the material on the site, most of it is UFO related, but if someone spots something of interest, be sure to note it in the comments.

Sector Seven Updated With Some Videos

Sector Seven (FWIFFO password) has updated once again this time with 3 new videos, another surveillance array and more satellite footage.

The red harddrive now contains three videos that show 3 Generation One Transformers interacting with the real world in creative ways. The first video is NBE 08 (Grimlock) crashing through a construction site. Second one is NBE 115, a Cyclon or something robot, not sure really. The last video is NBE125 (Insecticon Kickback) attacking a camera, one I had posted about in January. At the time thought the video was fan made, but now wonder if not studio made. Regardless, would love to see more of them.

Along the top 3 of 5 surveillance array's are now active. Interesting to note is that in the first group of pictures the "This laboratory has worked XX days without a safety breach" has been counting up, not currently at 58. The second group remains on sewer tunnels, no change that I can tell. That newest array is focused on a lot of plumbing including "High Pressure Condensate". Me thinks that safety message will soon be going back to zero.

Off to the right, two of the three black harddrives have been updated. The first harddrive is where the "Destiny" trailer has been moved to. The second harddrive has five pictures of Iraq satellite photos. My best guess is this is the area that Scorponok is traveling around before the attack in the movie. The icons at the bottom have no new information beyond more fan emails.

Thanks to Lionel D for the heads up on the site update. He informed me about it last night, but for whatever reason when I checked the site I kept getting the old information until later in the morning. Maybe the site updates by time zone. I did change my computer clock to see if it made a difference but forgot to alter timezone.

Update: The Sector 7 podcast has updated with two new messages. Most of it is a rephrasing of the same warning stuff but one part was interesting, "look to the man that started it all, Hoover, there you will find their base of operations, that is where they are hiding the NBE - the Megaman". Referring to Hoover Dam (previously said FBI Headquarters which having read the script was stupid thought on my part).

Sector Seven Update: New Password is FWIFFO

Thanks to the flash file on the new Transformers MySpace page, a new Sector Seven password has been revealed as FWIFFO (not case sensitive). This new passwords brings up an entirly different console with new icons, images and access.

Starting in the top left, there is a harddrive icon. Currently that can't be opened. To the right of that is five boxes, only the first on called "surveillance array 1" that shows someone;s lab. I guess this is from the Sector 7 facility working on Megatron. I like the cute "This laboratory has worked 52 days without a safety breach" sign. Currently the images are not showing anything except the set.

On the right of the screen is 3 external harddrive icons which currently don't open. Along the bottom are five new icons. The Triforce icon (for Zelda fans) shows the Sector 7 building schematics with only the first five floors viewable. The second icon brings up back to the email, only lots of new email. The third icon and 4th biohazard icon are not accessible. The yield icon brings up a new video.

There are now two email boxes for security. One is the "work stuff" box that contains the emails regarding the Agent X security breach and Hugo Weaving as Megs announcement. There is also a new email to Agent Powers that covers the discovery of a security breach using black-hats and root kits in addition to a backdoor password to Agent Snup's computer with concern there are other backdoor passwords. Currently Snup is in custody under suspicion of being an ally to Agent X by Agent Simmons.

In addition to the work stuff folder is now a "informants" folder that has close to 30 emails in it with various subjects (some matrix related it seems) but unknown senders. The one of significance seems to be "rabbit" who comes across as possibly Bumblebee. In an email from 3/1, reveals that N.B.E.'s name is Optimus Prime and "the world now divided into two factions, autobots and decepticons." Also he writes that Barricade being in Nevada with his "to enslave and punish" slogan. Finally he says that the decedent of Archibald Witwicky, Sam, needs to be detained as has the key to stop the Decepticons. Basically the email lays out the entire plot of the movie.

Another email reveals that NBE One is named Megatron and must remain contained. An email from "Daniel" on 3/15 speaks of Starscream, "I have been in the service of key individuals in Los Angeles to portray his vocal qualities in video game form and my voice will be transmitted all over the world this summer." A hint to the identity of who will voice Starscream perhaps? Other emails are claims of having more information, warnings, simply blank, or saying that weapons research should continue to protect humanity.

The new video is a quad screen view of Dr. Howard as she tries to send a message to Optimus Prime on her laptop with security stopping her dated 3/26/07. One box is an over the shoulder view that shows her working on her laptop. Two others shows a close-up on her mouth and eyes with text indicating detection of high stress levels and the computer apparently detecting her attempt to communicate with the last box relaying text showing how its trying to stop the attempt. Overall, for a short video, lot of stuff thrown on the screen.

To summarize, the game continues with Sector Seven informants providing a more complete picture of the players involved in the Transformers threat. Sector 7 sees the TFs as a danger and makes no distinction between the factions while Dr. Howard and allies do.

Update: Apparently the "Informants" mailbox is composed of emails sent by Transfans to video game related email addresses (not sure where they got them from). If true, makes you wonder how they will incorporate this into the Sector 7 story.

Sector Seven Site: More Information Revealed

Thanks to Shawn H. for pointing new information that was discovered in regards to the Sector Seven website. He decided to look over an older email, the one before the Hugo Weaving reveal, in regards to Agent X.

From the email, he noticed a curious phrase "This ws a dangerous time for us. We do not want to go back to the Ebucehtd Nif scenario." He also noticed that the email is indicated to come from Agent Powers but try to reply and it goes to Dr. Howard.

So from this, he realized that there existed a website ebucehtdnif.ws. Also that the phrase is "Find the cube" backwards. Going to the site brings a blank page but look carefully and you will find a tiny Sector Seven cube logo. Find the cube 7 times and it will bring you a page that reveals The Seven, the original founders of the Sector Seven organization and an email address 317526-AE0@sectorseven.org, an address that is clickable which makes me think that sending a correct word or phrase in the subject will initiate a automatic response that will reveal more information. Shawn proposes the initials of the Seven names might be important.

From find the cube site:
The First Seven hid the past to protect the future.
Stanford Julius Morehouse
Edgar Thibedeau Westfield
Neville Octavian Brewster
Percy Emerson Whitting
Wallace Wilson Clairmont
Alistair Jennings Crowther
Vance Milhaus Lawson

The site also has an interesting sound file that plays on the 6th cube, at least sometimes. The clicks and whatnot I think are a hint for those that keep up with space missions so that may indicate why it might sound familiar even if doesn't make sense. Well, if click here, you can hear the sound file in reverse. Its says "Houston uh Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed...." This is from the 1969 first landing on the moon with Neil Armstrong. The relevance of this sound file to the entire story is not known.

The hide the past is referring to hiding the discovery of Megatron. I did send a test email with the phrase "The Seven" in the subject, but no response received. I am also thinking that sending these emails will help them add entries to their database so can send you future info from "Agent X" and other advertisements once the Transformers campaign ends, so just be aware of that possibility. For giggles I tried a Google search on the above names but only other TF sites came up.

In addition to all of the above, it turns out that "Agent X" has a podcast. To subscribe to it via iTunes, click here. To find using other podcasts tools, the name of the cast seems to be "Sector 7 must be stopped". Now if that phrase makes you automatically want to complete it with "no matter the cost." a) You are a true transfan and b) it may be intentional. Its possible that "Agent X" is Optimus Prime since playing around with the pitch in the 4 currently released podcasts sure do sound like him.

Click here to go to a website that has the four podcasts along with the alterations in pitch. I also agree that sounds like Peter Cullen not quite doing the Optimus Prime voice.

As for the podcasts, the first 3 are more just warnings that the Decepticons are coming and Sector Seven is hiding this preventing the human race from being ready. The most recent cast X4 is interesting as it describes a leak in 1982 thats leads to the Transformers toy line and ends with "look to Takara, it is truth masquerading as fiction." Takara is the Japanese toy company that original created the Transformers and continues to release the toys there today in partnership with Hasbro.

There you go, turns out the Sector Seven mystery is deeper and more spread out then thought. Should be an interesting search on the net to find out more information including the importance of the First Seven and the moon landings in the over movie Transformers story.

In regards to the intials bit they are SJMETWNOBPEWWWCAJCVML. Notice that the current Sector Seven password NBETWO is part of the collection as is "www" and "seven". This makes me think its possibly an anagram for a website.

Update: Based on a review of the prequel novel "Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday", it appears that the significance of the '69 Moon Landing recording on the cube site is related to it being a cover for a Sector Seven launch of Ghost I spacecraft, designed from technology developed from "the Megaman" (Megatron) with the mission to find the Transformers.

New Sector Seven Password

In an email sent to various Transfans on the web, most of who don't know how their email address was captured comes a new password for the Sector Seven website. I am thinking the emails where captured from users on various Transformers forums that allowed their email addresses to be public. Take a intern, give em five Transformer forum and an hour and I am sure they could have culled up a sizable email list to distribute for "Agent X".

Any case the email reads:
From: Sector7Sucks [Sector7Sucks@sectorseven.org]
Subject: They must be stopped.

You have been inside Sector Seven. Thanks to me.

You¹ve seen a glimpse of their secret agenda, but there is much, much more. Enough to fill every hard drive in China. It is imperative that these operations be exposed to the world. With every passing second, the chances for the survival of the human race steadily decline. The peoples of the Earth must know the truth.

I believe this Dr. Howard may prove useful to the cause. Her research into NBETWO gives me some hope that we may have allies somewhere out there. Unfortunately, we have no way of locating or contacting them at present.

I¹m afraid this cloak and dagger routine must continue for some time. For now, I ask only that you spread the word. They must change their ways. In the future, however, I may call on you to take more drastic measures. For those of you still loyal to Sector Seven, suck on it.

X marks the spot.
A reply to the above email address will fail for those thinking of trying. From this email, we know have the password "NBETWO" (no numbers in it) that provides access to a new email and video between Dr. Rebecca Howard and Lt. Col. Alexander Powers.

So to access the new stuff, got to Sector 7 site, type in the password NBETWO (not case sensitive). Under the scorpion icon, the new email is a warning from security that Agent X infiltrated Sector Seven email system and sent out the above email and is now considered "Sector Seven's Public Enemy Number One. He has been officially marked for neutralization by any means necessary." I guess invasion takes a backseat to security breaches.

The video, under the Yield sign, continues the sound files argument between the two characters of this site and introduces a new "Non-Biological Extraterrestrial". Howard wants to tell people about the invasion as allies are needed. Powers wants more weapons. From there, apparently N.B.E. 102 has been spotted doing recon and searching for something. Best guess is this is Bumblebee.

The updates from the Sector 7 site are continuing in frequency, should be interesting how the story of the site is developed. Have two characters now established to have a history, probably romantic. Clash on approach to TF invasion issue. Hidden floors of a secret facility, secret videos, and someone wishing to trash it all. For a site that's designed to promote a movie, whoever is doing it is doing an outstanding job of making it worth following. Thanks to Shaw H. for the heads-up on the email.

Update: A site reader, Maximus, has pointed out that there are additional satellite images on the website. After logging in, click the third hard drive from the top. A box labeled "Tiger Team Assets" opens up revealing 4 documents. The first is a PDF and the next three are satellite images. The first image shows Navy action in the Sea of Japan. The second is a top view of a city, I am guessing Los Angeles. Possibly tracking the movements of Transformers? The last is a view of a weapon facility in unknown location. No idea what these images have to do with the movie.

Another Sector Seven Update

Sector 7 has added another Optimus Prime sound file to the site. The sound file is a cleaned up version from the previous "emails" as its a reply from Dr. Howard claiming that Optimus (NBE 2) wants to help. In the clip Optimus (Peter Cullen) says "This is Optimus Prime. device to help stop the Decepticons who are determined to destroy the Earth...wants to enslave the human race. Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost."

To reach the file, go to Sector 7 > enter as the password "thefirst7" > click the scorpion icon > choose the most recent email. Based on some comments read on various message boards, you might get "Warning. Login Failed...Retinal Scan Required." The password is still valid as some people are able to get in so it seems the error is more of a result of the site getting slammed rather then the password being inaccurate so keep trying. Thanks to Joe P.for providing the above information.

Sector Seven Site Update

Sector 7 website has had another update. Log in with password thefirst 7 and click the scorpion icon.

The update has added two new emails dated Feb. 25, 2007. The emails have a subject called the Megaman Digital Sound Files. The first email from "Dr. Rebecca Howard" covers a message from Optimus Prime with portions of it translated to English from what assumes is the movie's version of the Cybertronian language. "Megaman" while a reference to the Capcom game, also seems to be the name assigned to Megatron. "N.B.E. Two" is the label for Optimus.

In the first sample you can here Peter Cullen say "destroy the Earth" and "Megatron". The second sample has what sounds like a few english words including "Autobot City" and "their in" and ends with "...no matter the cost." The last is a reference to a line from the animated movie before the death of Optimus Prime, "Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost."

The phrase Autobot City seems to be spoken by a different voice. Deeper in voice, its a toss up on who but for some reason "Ironhide" popped into my head, not sure why. The second email is a reply that orders to stop attempting the communicate with NBE 2. No idea what NBE stands for. Any ideas?

Thanks to Daniel S. for the heads-up.

Movie Related Sector Seven Site TheFirst7 Update

Sector Seven website has been updated with a few new features. A new password has been introduced "thefirst7" which brings up the same interface and data as the "takara83" password did, but provides a little bit more information. The new stuff is accessed via the bottom control panel.

The wasp icon brings up a rather detailed schematic of the Sector 7 headquarters which based on the brief room titles is military in nature with barracks and training quarters. It also apparently has a means of filtering water but no indicated way to produce oxygen or foodstuffs so apparently its not a self-contained environment. Levels 6 and 7 of the plans are restricted. Still no real clue on how this "organization" plans into the movie script.

The scorpion icon brings up to emails with video. The first video is of a supposed escape attempt by a subject that had to be rendered inert by an EMP indicating it was a section attempt at creating a Transformer. The second video is of a security breach by a pizza boy who captured a recording of the "first seven" which based on the script and the age of the pictures would indicate around the late 1800's when Megatron is first discovered in the artic according to a leaked version of the movie script.

The last new info is under the danger icon. Its a video of a conference between Dr. Rebecca Howard (wonder who the actress is) and Lt. Col. Alexander Powers discussing and showing design of a "megaman reverse engineering designed" weapon called the XK-Plasma 1. Since it kinda looks like the video game character Mega Man's pulse cannon I am thinking the choice in phrasing is intentional.

If seems like this site is designed almost as an explanation for how the United States government might be in a position to capture and destroy Transformers without having to waste a lot of screen time doing it. I have to admit the creativity involved is good and hopefully the various password "clearances" will start getting revealed at a steadier rate. Thanks to Daniel S and Joe P for the heads-up.

Small Sector 7 Site Update

Sector 7 (password: takara83), a Transformers movie related site, has made a slight update with an image of a weapon called the H9-2 Harpoon Gun that I guess is used to take down Transformers. What is has to do with the movie beats me but I am betting it involves a chase sequence at some point. Thanks to Joe P for the info.

Easter Egg in Transformers Trailer

AICN.com is reporting that there is an Easter Egg in the new Transformers trailer. At about the 37 second mark, when the sound modulation is on screen, in the top right it reads "Sector Seven Org" and on the bottom it reads "takara83".

So Head to SectorSeven.org, type in the password "takara83". The site will then open to a view of a desktop like interface. Clicking on the various folder icons will bring up a Sector 7 logo, a weapon design, and agreement to create video games by "S7". In the bottom right is a warning icon which when clicks will bring up a video about the a object detected that could be a threat, a reference to the first Transformers trailer and story point of the film.

I don't think Sector 7 has existed in previous Transformers lore, but Takara is the Japanese toy company that first created the Transformers line and licensed the toys to Hasbro in the early 80s. "83" refers to the first year the Transformers line existed. As for the Video Game license, Activision already has an agreement to create several video games from Transformers for all the platforms including two for the Nintendo Wii (S7 then a design house within the company?). Its safe to assume most of the games will be specifically for the movie but hoping at least one will feature the original Generation One Transformers. Thanks Joe P for the heads up.

With IDW already committed to publishing a 4 part comics called "Transformers: The Movie Prequel" its seems all the popular forms of entertainment is now covered. Movie, music, comics, video games, all thats left is TV. Wonder if a special is in the offering. A new animated series is already in the pipeline but doubtful that will be ready by next July.
