Three New Character Posters

Finally some new posters for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen via Yahoo! Movies. Each of the posters have a hyper detailed version of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Starscream in front of the Egyptian pyramids. Hopefully more sheets will be released soon for other Transformer characters. Thanks to Rich for the link.

Megatron Blasted and Starscream?

I thought I was done with stills from the ShoWest Montage but the below are compelling enough to post.

These stills provide a great look at Megatron and seem to show him taking a few blasts to the chest and head complete with fire flare-up. The future doesn't look too bright for the villain. Thanks to InvisbleMan for the pictures.

Here is a close-up of a moment in the field where Optimus Prime goes flying from a kick by Megatron. In the background is three Transformers many are assuming to be Blackout and Starscream. As the picture from Andrew (thanks!) shows, the arms, shoulders don't quit match. Maybe Starscream taking on a rather odd pose (I think supposed appear to be stalking) or a different character all together?

Complete Audi Chase Clip, More Screenshots

Below is a clip from Kevin (thanks!) where he combined the Audi chase sequence from the first trailer with the additional footage from the ShoWest montage to create a full sequence. In addition are a few more screenshots to join the previous batch from the montage that shows off character faces and a bit more. Thanks to Dave, Eugene, Asri, and Simon.

Video pulled by YouTube due to Paramount copyright claim.

Transformers 2 CGI Art Work (Update 2)

It took a while but finally some new CGI artwork of the some of the characters for Transformers 2 has appeared online. Some of the CGI in the gallery is old but much is brand new. Thanks to Ken and David for the link.

Update: Added the image in the left created by D-M0de (thanks!) for those that like the idea of the Twins running for their lives. Good for wallpaper or imagining such a scene in the movie.

Update 2: D-M0de provided the below two pictures to replace the previous Twins chase image. Uses the below CGI images along with Photoshop magic to tell a better story.

More MixMaster, Fallen, and Other Toy Pics (Updated)

Another day, another set of galleries to look through.

Voyager Mixmaster - Large set of images that compares the vehicle mode of the Constructicon with other Transformers past and present.
Voyager The Fallen - A few pictures that show off the main villian of the upcoming sequel for an eBay auction.
Leader Megatron - Gallery and review of the toy.
Leader Optimus Prime - Two high quality pictures that show off the re-designed toy.
Deluxe Bumblebee - Also two pictures of the slightly tweaked toy.
Deluxe Skids - Review from Peaugh of the upcoming toy. Yep, he does have buck teeth.
Hyper Hobby Magazine Compare - Two pictures below are from the Japanese magazine that gives a comparison of the first movie vs sequel design of multiple Transformers characters.
Scout Scalpel (The Doctor) - Another gallery similar to Mixmaster that shows off the character and compares him to other Transformers.

Update: Added a link to the Scalpel gallery and corrected the class for Mixmaster.

New Sideswipe, Megatron, Starscream Toy Pictures

Three new toy images, a new one of Sideswipe who remains the least known of the Autobot toys and new class images for Megatron and Starscream.

First up, from TF08.net, an image of Sideswipe in his Centennial Corvette vehicle mode to go along with the one image from last month. Sadly no robot mode pictures or packaging to verify officially that the name of the character is Sideswipe (the Hasbro Summit second hand information is not quite conclusive enough).

Next via TFW2005 is Megatron which may or may not be the Fast Action Battler tank mode. Looking at previous images, I think it’s the Deluxe class version as the legs and turret design don't look like the FAB version.

The-Arker.com brings us two new images of unknown class of Starscream, at least it doesn't look like the Voyager class to me. My best guess is it’s the Deluxe class but I really can't tell.

Transformers 2 Starscream Video Toy Review

Via TFormers.com, a video review (Peaugh again or at least his friend) of the upcoming tattooed Voyager class version of Starscream from the Transformers 2 toy line to go with the hi-res pictures from the other day. Overall, he reviews it as a solid improvement over previous version.

Packaging Pics Hint At Megatron

More pictures via The Arker are online for the various Voyager Transformers that show off the packaging and character descriptons in greater detail then the previous pictures. Also apparently a new game will be released.

Voyager class Optimus Prime Gallery
From the moment Optimus Prime took Earth as a new home for himself and his people, he was rededicated to its protection. Since that day, he has focused all of his considerable will and power on rooting out the last few Decepticons and destroying them. To that end, he has upgraded and refined his sensor suite, and trained with Ironhide in tracking the evil robots.
Voyager class Starscream Gallery
The moment his sensor net registered Megatron going offline, Starscream knew that battle was over and the Allspark lost. He converted to vehicle mode and boosted for outer space, hoping to buy enough time to rally the Decepticon survivors. Returning from Cybertron bearing the marks won during his reign over the Decepticon army, he is cocused on conquest. With a new army behind him, he has the strength to pursue his own goals, and perhaps, when the time is right, bring Megatron back.
Bumblebee with Sam Gallery
Bumblebee and Sam were best friends almost from the moment they first met face to face. As they learned more about one another, that connection grew deeper and deeper. Now, whether Sam is behind the wheel, or standing side by side with his friend, they work together as a team. Against Bumblebee and his human friend, no Decepticon stands a chance.
Transformers: RoTF Missile Mania Gallery
From Milton-Bradley, a two player game that involves knocking opponents players with toy missiles.

I think the most significant piece of information, is the image of Megatron that is on all the packaging either in the background behind the toy, on the Missile Mania box and the side of the packaging as multiple readers pointed out from the previous set.

Now the question is how you know that is Megatron? It is a case of following the pictures. Earlier in the year, CGI pictures of a tank with a head image appeared online. Later an action pose of a robot with claw hands and a face nearly identical to the previous pictures appeared online. A post that is almost identical to the toy packaging. Last we have images of Fast Action Megatron in his packaging (therefore official), that has a tank mode and a face mold nearly identical to the previous images. End conclusion is thanks to the toy, we have official confirmation that all are images of Megatron. Now does this mean he returns in the movie? Michael Bay said no to Empire Magazine but who knows at this point.
