Thanks to Carnivac (and also supported by TFW2005 thread), much of the voice cast for the various Transformers has been verified. Many of the robots in the movie don't have lines and it turns out some of the information we had was incorrect (not really surprised considering how little attention the voice cast gets).
I wish Paramount would release the credit list (like they did for Star Trek) so have something definitive to link to to clear up any probable confusion on who did what in the movie.
Likely voice cast: (but some not officially confirmed) (clicking their names brings you to their IMDB.com profile)
Arcee - Grey DeLisle (not Susan Blu)
The Fallen - Tony Todd
Jetfire - Mark Ryan (not John Turturro)
Mudflap - Reno Wilson
Skids & Wheelie - Tom Kenny
Soundwave & Devastator - Frank Welker
Sideswipe - Andre Sogliuzzo (not Jason Griffith)
The Doctor (Scalpel) - John DiCrosta
an ancient Prime - Kevin Michael Richardson
Demolisher - remains unknown
Its worth hitting up the profiles for these actors because of the long careers many of these actors have had. Even if you don't know the name, chances are you will recognize the face or their work. As far as Transformers connections, Kevin Michael Richardson voiced Omega Supreme in Transformers: Animated, Reno Wilson voiced Frenzy in the first movie; Mark Ryan also voices Bumblebee in the movies and Ironhide in the video game. Tom Kenny (other than being SpongeBob SquarePants) also voice Isaac Sumdac, Starscream, various Seekers, Scrapper and more for Transformers: Animated. Of course Frank Welker (G1's Megatron, Soundwave, Galavatron, Rumble and more) doesn't really need an introduction to Transfans but his storied career is massive and covers work you would have never had thought had anything to do with him.

Eight Constructicons In Transformers 2?
Ravage and Soundwave"In the spirit of 'more than meets the eye,' Ravage isn't just lethal because of his sharp teeth," says screenwriter Alex Kurtzman. "There's actually another skill set Ravage has that didn't exist before, so there's going to be a surprise for fans." ...his role will be similar to the 1980s cartoon and Hasbro toy — the ultimate spy.
Ravage doesn't turn into anything. But Soundwave will appear, again serving as an evil communications expert but this time in the form of an orbiting space satellite.
And Ravage, as before, won't speak like the other Transformers. "We wanted to stay true to the idea that Decepticons who take visual clues from beasts maintain that," says Orci. "It would be strange to have a talking jaguar, or a scorpion with an English accent."
Insecticons
"We have big guys, some little guys. We have a lot of littler ones, too. Little weirder ones," Bay says. Like the Insecticons, which were giant bugs in the original series and Hasbro toy line, but are now tiny creepy-crawly infiltrators.
Jetfire
As in the original, this fighter plane crash-landed on Earth a long time ago, and he will become a reformed Decepticon now fighting for the humans. His alternate form is the SR-71 Blackbird, the outdated but still-sleek Cold War spy plane.
"He's old, craggy, forgetful ... doesn't work very well. Can't transform very well, because he's very geriatric. They get stuck with him a lot," Bay says. "He knows the plan of the bad guys, but he forgets all the good parts of the plan."
The Twins
"Some of the junior Transformers are just dumb," Bay says with a laugh. "But it's great for kids because they're like the Little Engine That Could. They're (screw)-ups, but they get really heroic at the end."
Arcee
Arcee is the only female and turns up as Megan Fox's hot-pink motorcycle. Co-screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci say she was in an early draft of the first movie. "But we felt we needed to win the audience over before asking for that suspension of disbelief: a feminine alien robot," Kurtzman says.
The Fallen
The Fallen is an ancient robot, sort of the Transformers' version of Lucifer. He's one of the original robot aliens, and his defiance and arrogance led to his banishment into another dimension. The screenwriters say that The Fallen holds the key to life on both Earth and Cybertron, the Transformers' home planet.
The DoctorA smaller, but no less malevolent Decepticon is known as The Doctor — a spider-like droid that transforms into various implements of torture and has a not-so-nice encounter with star Shia LaBeouf.
Devastator
These seven robots — Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster — transform into construction machinery, but also link up with one another to form one gigantic robot stomper named Devastator.
"He's made of vehicles designed to build, and he turns into is someone who loves to destroy," Orci says. "He is an agent of absolute chaos."
"Spielberg saw it and said, 'This is (expletive) awesome!' " Bay says, and adds: "It's always nice when you can make him swear."
Missing from the list is Megatron, who Bay has already verified is returning. Of interest is the bit about Devastator merging with seven Constructicons, one of which is not Demolisher (the one wheeled guy in the trailer busting through a bridge). The 2009 Toy Fair pictures and display along with the preview on The Today Show suggested that the toy was a combination of six constructions:
Demolishor - red O&K/Terex RH400 Hydrolic Mining Excavator (torso)
Scrapper - yellow Caterpillar 992G Front Loader (right arm)
Long Haul - green Caterpillar 773B Dump Truck (right leg)
Mix Master - silver Mack Cement Mixer (head)
High Tower - yellow Kobelco CK2500 Truss Crane (left arm)
Rampage - yellow Caterpillar D9L Bulldozer (left leg)
Apparently this is wrong. Instead of Demolisher we have the addition of Scavenger and Overload whose alt modes remain unknown. Suffice it to say I am a bit confused. Either the Toy Fair displays were missing two Constructicons (why do that when the Fairs purpose is to sell a line to vendors?) or USA Today and co have some of their information confused ("The Doctor" vs Scalpel). I guess things will get cleared up a bit more once the toys get released.
Thanks to all the site readers for sending in the links.
Update:As pointed out in the comments, the Toy Fair pictures did show one of the toys with the word "SCVNGR" which even then was identified as Scavenger but dismissed as an error or early production model. Clearly, instead there are two variations of the Hydraulic Mining Excavator as part of the Constructions. One is Demolisher seen early in the film (and now I assume meets a bad end) and the other is Scavenger which helps form the torso of Devastator. Best guess for Overload is the Komatsu HD465-7 Articulated Dump Truck TFW2005's source provided way back in October. The other six were right so small leap to assume the last is correct too. My best guess in this scenario is Overload is the lower torso that the legs connect to and Scavenger is the upper that the arms and Mixmaster attach to.
Update 2: Oops got my construction vehicles confused. Probably going to do that a few times with the Constructicons.

New Autobot Plane In Movie? (Updated)
A new Transformers 2 toy, complete with mini Optimus Prime, has leaked to The Arker. The toys is Voyager class, and looks almost like the C-130 that was seen at The Boneyard when production filmed there back in October. This could finally explain exactly how the Autobots get from the United States to Egypt to fight the Decepticons and The Fallen.
Below are a few images and the full gallery can be found here.

Update: From the comments, its appears the alt mode has been identified as a Russian Antonov An-225 (or An-225 Mriya). Of course this is 100% verified (but then neither has the toy) but it is the closest I have seen so far. Considering that the Ironhide toys suggests that NEST is a U.N. funded program, it would make sense that foreign aircraft would be needed to transport what I assume are very heavy fleet of Autobots.

Japan List Suggest New TF 2 Character
TFormers.com has posted a list of Transformers toys from Amazon Japan. Most are known but there is one addition to the toy list that is new, called Chromia. Chromia (wiki) is a female character that goes back to the G1 days even though only appeared briefly in one of the episodes along with Elita-1. It provides additional evidence that one of the three bikes currently collectivity called Arcee might be three individual characters. Or it could simply be a repaint of the Arcee from the first movie's toy line.
You have to love the Japanese class naming conventions for their toy classes as it makes it so easy to keep track of a collection and much improved over the mess of the stateside method (which is no method). Hasbro should consider copying it. It is something that would encourage collecting (and therefore purchasing) of their toys. Let’s face it there are a lot of collectors and kids who lose track of what they own but if they knew they had RA-01 to 06, they would be that more likely to "complete" the collection by getting the rest of the numbering. At the very least they should try it.
The list, with links and release dates is here.

Autobots At Auto Show Videos
Last week GM debut its fleet of Autobots to the public at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show giving us a good close look at the Chevy Trax (Mudflap), Beat (Skids), Camaro (BB), Volt (Jolt) and Corvette Stingray (Sideswipe). We already got a look at some galleries, but now thanks to Schoop77 here are some videos to go with them.

The Audi Gets A Name
In a new crop of official images for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toy line, revealed at Toy Fair 2009, comes an accidental reveal on the name of the mysterious Decepticon Audi R8 seen all over the place during filming, in the trailer and in sneak toys. As the package on the right shows, his official name is Sideways (yep the same name dropped in the Toyfare article). What does this mean for Barricade since the theory that the Audi was a reformat is now out the window? And why no Arcee toys at Toyfair? What secrets is that character hiding?
The full gallery of new images including more Deluxe class toys in packaging, Bumble Spud and others, click here.
Thanks to Chris for the information.

First Look At Devastator?
ACToys (via Shoot for The Edit) has revealed some art that shows off the main villains of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, including Devastator. The images are artwork but get collaborated by product details list that summarizes the various classes for the Transformers 2 toy line. Suffice it to say, he will be expensive.
The second picture just shows off what is a statue for The Fallen. Even though the toy was more green colored, the red is a much better look, makes him more sinister looking. The last picture is a collage of villains. Now notice it’s really just a Photoshop of the two above pictures combined with the Megatron image on the leaked toy boxes, again indicating heavy fan participating in these images.
Sadly I have to maintain we still have no definitive proof of Devastator, but again I hope I am wrong. Hopefully more information will leak to verify the images.

Thanks to minime, Firefrost, and Boo for the links.
Supreme Combiner Item Number 83908 Devastator RRP - £99.99In the first picture is a CGI rendering of Devastator. I have admit I am not 100% convinced this is real as this has the presentation (the background, "final assembly", etc) doesn't match how any information about the movie has come out before. Also the lack of a Hasbro copyright logo anywhere, including on the name, is a small cause of concern as they tend to be pretty religious about that. I can not quite tell how many sub-components make up the toy. It could be the seven rumored pieces.
- Characters combine to form the ultimate movie villain from ROTF lights and Sound bring this character to life, large scale transformer packed with features

First Look At The Fallen
TFNet08.com has released the images of The Fallen toy. The images include the instruction book showing that the alt mode for the character will be a Cybertronian jet (bit of theme with that). This finally confirms that the title of the movie, Revenge of the Fallen, is referring to a literal character and is not a metaphor for the return of Megatron. As the first photo shows, the head matches exactly the enhanced poster image so now that little mystery is cleared up. Also I do believe that it is this character that is gave Optimus Prime that devastating blow to the head in the trailer. It is pretty clear that part of the film story is there is tie to the Transformers race and humanity via ancient Egypt and the pyramids (where The Fallen is probably found). I do believe that all the red plastic represent flames, probably a nod to the comic version that helped inspire the movie character. Thanks to all the site readers (cypherXR was first) for sending in the link and pictures.

Below is a comparison of the poster and The Fallen's face side by side. Obviously the toy doesn't have the same detail but it’s clearly the same face. The next image is point out a few similarities that help prove that the Fallen was in the Superbowl trailer. Notice the similarities in the symbol on the toy and the leg. Also the red plastic probably means hot or flames which is similar to the two hot spots on the knee that hits Prime in the head. Not conclusive but it strikes me as something Bay would do, sneak in the Fallen without actually showing him off.

Wheelie Confirmed for Movie
While literally asleep at the wheel, TF08.net posted the card backing for the Deluxe toy of Wheelie. With this last piece of information, a few things have been verified. One is that there is a transformer whose alt mode is an RC Truck indicating that Bay and company are thinking more outside the box then in the past. Another is the call sheets from Bethlehem has now been 100% verified. Wheelie is the one that discovers Jetfire at the Smithsonian. Thanks to all the people that sent me the link and pictures.
As for the character description, its seems that this Wheelie might have the potential to as annoying as the G1 version:
Autobot Wheelie never really wanted to be a Decepticon. It's just that, when people start yelling at him, he tends to do whatever they say. He's easily startled, and simple to scare. His tiny size makes him an ideal spy and even though he doesn't like or agree with the Decepticons, they scare him so much he doesn't know what to do except obey.

Official Transformers Video Game Trailer (Updated)
Activision has officially released the video game trailer for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. The game will be available on current consoles and PCs. The game will be similar to the first movies, in that you can play as Autobots or Decepticons and each Transformer will have abilities and weapons specific to them along with the instant Transformation switch. There will also be multiplayer modes to you can wreck havoc on each other. There is no release date yet, but I imagine it will come out about the same time as the movie.
It is good to hear Peter Cullen doing Optimus Prime. The graphics are solid but not sure if what was shown is in game graphics are not. Now most significantly is the end of the trailer where they explicitly merge the Decepticon logo into the face on movie poster indicating a clear link.
In addition below are a few pictures from IGN that show off the character models and also Bumblebee fighting off a Decepticon. One thing I noticed about the Decepticon is that its alt mode may look very close to the M270 Launch Rocket System which I think was one of the photos in -=boM=-'s gallery. A gallery that Paramount has since had pulled from the web (update below).

Thanks to Danny for the heads-up on the trailer and to Adam for the pictures.
Update: Thanks to anonymous fans, below are the two pictures of the rocket launcher taken by boM at White Sands. While I think a rocket launcher is likely the alt mode of the first Decepticon fighting Bumblebee, the pictures are not conclusive proof that the rocket launcher is anything more then a prop for the film rather then being used as a Decepticon. Makes you wonder though.

A New Twist on Fallen Concept? (Update 2)
A new post LS2.com (via TFormers) adds an interesting twist to what "The Fallen" may be in the title Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. Currently there are two camps, either it’s a brand new character named "The Fallen" based on a comic book concept from a few years or it is symbolic naming for the return of Megatron (possibly renamed to Galvatron).
According to "-=boM=-", there now might be another potential meaning. BoM was apparently a military extra on the set when filming occurred at Holloman Air Force Base and White Sands in New Mexico around October. A claim supported by pictures from the set. Big spoiler warning for below and note this is completely unverified.
First post by -=boM=-:
Now to support that boM was an extra (but not the Prime plot point), he posted a HUGE gallery of pictures from the set that includes pictures of most of the Autobot vehicle cast including Ratchet, who has been missing from most of the sets leading to speculation that his character dies. Below are just 12 pictures out of 117 that he posted so be sure to go here to view them all.
Images removed per demand from Paramount Pictures.
Update: As read abobe, the Holloman set pics are getting pulled from the web by Paramount. My best guess is the pictures revealed a plot point since the vehicles have been known for a while now and the set itself was featured on ET and Insider. My best, mostly uneducated guess, for the reason behind the cease and desist is the shot of Josh Duhamel, Shia and Megan. In it Josh and Megan's body language seems to be of anguish or concern over a prone Sam, who is wearing a costume that is the same as the burnt and bloody costume from August. I guess this set is where Shia received those injuries for the film.
Update 2: To add fire to the above, according to the Latino Review, boM had initially used the word "corpse" instead of "body" when talking about Optimus. The change was made when a poster noted that they never actually referred to him as dead. Thanks to Ian and Chris for the info.

First post by -=boM=-:
"Can't wait...i'm in it as an extra. I am a Navy Seal doing a battle scene against the Decepticons. I filmed out at White Sands and on Hollomans flight line. Filmed for 4 days and had a blast. Tons of pics on my Facebook."Follow up reply:
I had to chase a bunch of villagers out of the area because the Decepticons were attacking, then had to protect Optimus Prime's body. There were a shitload of us out there. If the post above is true then apparently Optimus Prime may possibly fall fighting the Decepticons and maybe return seeking revenge on them. The only problem I have with this idea is "revenge" would be very un-Optimus Prime like. I am inclined to dismiss this idea. However, Prime dying could have possibilities, or it simply could be Prime gets severely injured (commercial shows a possible beat down) and is unconscious requiring an escort during recovery.
The food and catering was awesome. A lot of downtime. Just like a deployment.
I did an interview for the DVD. We will see if that is on it too. The asked me a bunch of questions about the military. The autobots are behind me on top of a sand dune. I did a GM plug. They liked that.
Micheal Bay loves the military. I got to speak with him very briefly. He gets so angry on set at the actors but doesn't dare yell or demean the military. It was a trip. He said something to me like do you want a job as a DA (Directors Assistant), I said hell yeah. He was getting pissed at his DA. His DA was like trust me you dont want this job.
I have two closeup shots if they do decide to put them in the movie. One was walking with the camera on the tracks going along with me but at a slower pace. The camera was right on the side of my face following me but at a slower rate. There were two others behind me. The other close up was while I was defending from a corner of a building on one knee. The boom camera went from the ground to over head of us all. I was up front in the scene. The camera came up to my face then began to ascend over the area. It was pretty cool.
Another scene was Optimus getting dropped off by a chinook. I had to run up to the area then stop as Optimus was getting dropped.
Another was with Josh and Tyrese when they argue with The President on the flightline. I am in the background.
As much time as I spent filming (9-10 hours a day for 4 days) I hope I am seen at least once. Hell I'll be happy to be on teh DVD.

Ironhide, Twins and Megatron Robot Images
Thanks to Phil who sent me the below pictures that I think came from the Transformers The Game website joining the previous leaked pictures of the Twins. Nowadays its hard to tell but the detail isn't up to the level of Empire's Optimus Prime image making me think they are all based on ILM's designs but modified for the game's graphics engine. Ironhide looks slightly different, I just can't pin down why. The new angle on the Twins just makes them even stranger looking. As for Megatron, in the bottom right you can see potential tread and he has two claw-hands instead of a cannon arm, either a game design change or maybe the cannon is not permanent but a sub-transformation similar to his weapon in the first movie.

Update: Just a side note, as the below image proves, final verification that those images leaked back in September where related to "Mudflap". Apparently the buggy look eyes were related to his head design. Thanks to Phil for the image below.

First Look at The Twins
Activision has updated it's website for Transformers The Game with the first images of The Twins in their robot modes. An M&M package confirmed that the Chevy Beat (Skids) and Chevy Trax (name still unknown, Mudflap new rumor) were the alt modes of the Twins but this is the first good look at their robot modes which show a lot of similarities but they seem to be fraternal rather then identical twins. I think the image is from the game rather then from ILM (but probably based on their model) so its possible the final movie design could be futher modified. Something about their post and design that makes me think these are going to be hyper playful characters. Thanks to Gregory for the link and info.
