Transformers 4 Score and Soundtrack Updates
I am guessing the sales on the previous score and soundtrack albums were not so hot has nothing has been released this go around to coincide with the release of the film. Having said that, something is still in the works since a digital release of albums is a minor cost compared to printing CDs. On the soundtrack front we have a list of the tracks that will be included while on the score side composer Steve Jablonsky provided some updates via his Facebook page and Hitfix.
"The amazing Patricia Sullivan is mastering the score album today. Dinobots roll out!"

Imagine Dragons and Steve Jablonsky for Transformers: Age of Extinction?
It looks like that Michael Bay's attempt to movie away from the first trilogy and start somewhat anew extends to the music soundtrack. An image on Facebook suggests that Imagine Dragons is working on the soundtrack for Transformers: Age of Extinction with score composer Steve Jablonsky. On the previous three films, the band was Linkin Park who usually created an end credits track with Jablonsky who also used music ques from the track in the score itself. While not officially confirmed, Imagine Dragon posted an image writing "working on a score for an upcoming movie.." (via TFW2005)

Steve Jablonsky Talks About Transformers Scores, TF4 and More
In a kind of career retrospective interview with JoBlo.com, Transformers franchise composer Steve Jablonsky talks about his work, his writing process, other composers he has worked with and just a touch on his upcoming stint for Transformers: Age of Extinction. Below is the TF4 highlights but if a fan of his work, worth reading the entire interview - Part 1 | Part 2
I would argue that TRANSFORMERS was your "he's done it" score. Do you feel that's accurate?
I have heard that before and I appreciate it. Even Hans Zimmer had said to me one day, like, "You realize you have written something that's now part of the culture?" I said, "Wow I didn't know, I didn't actually realize that" but especially coming from him who has done that time and time again.
What was the process of doing TRANSFORMERS like?
I don't know, I didn't even know if I was doing it until he [Michael Bay] called me one day and started talking about it like I was doing it. I said, "oh, am I doing it?" [laughter] And he said, "Oh, yeah what do you think?" [laughter] I thought great. And of course TRANSFORMERS is- I had known about it since I was a kid. My brother was way into it, my younger brother. That was another level of...there is going to be a lot of people looking at this movie.

Linkin Park's Steve Aoki Part of Transformers 4 Soundtrack?
Grammy nominated Steve Aoki may be working with Michael Bay on Transformers: Age of Extinction soundtrack. He tweeted, with image, "Discussing war politics between the autobots & decepticons over dinner w/ #michaelbay s4te #transformers4" The musician worked with Linkin Park on their recent album "Recharged". Considering the band has provided a single for the three previous Transformers films, probably not a reach to assume Bay was discussing possibilities for Aoki to team up with the group again to create a track for Transformers 4.
