But indeed not enough transformations, no character development, I want to see where The Wreckers came from, that they got a scan during a Nascar race. That would've been cool.
I still can't process the fact that the Autobots got captured out of thin air with no explanation!! That made no sense what so ever.

Very original cool plot that Sentinal betrayed the Autobots, I was stunned by that. But Shockwave was a pussy, a big push-over. He was supposed to be the big villain!
There definitly had to be more and longer epic fights, between Prime and Shockwave and Megatron. Megatron did almost nothing. The fight between Optimus and Sentinal should've lasted longer, surely not Sentinal pushing Optimus on the ground and Megatron 'saving' him.

I expected a different movie with combiners. And big shame we had no dogfights between Starscream and at least Silverbolt.

Nontheless, I'll probably also get the standard blu-ray and sell it when the special edition is released. No 3D edition for me!Martinus Primenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14846463.post-1402461484881120652011-09-13T15:41:23.893-04:002011-09-13T15:41:23.893-04:00Transformers: Dark of the Moon was awesome! You guys got no problem calling me a timeslot and I got no problem at all with Pixel Rally. If I overlook the faults of the movie, there is a TON to amazed by. 1. Vehicles that change into giant robots!!! 2. To make a movie that size using actual locations (barring the moon, of course), Bay pulled it off amazingly well for the amount of money spent... think he should have spent more? Even Hollywood gets nervous about spending $200 million during a recession. 3. The birdmen wingsuits were actual skydivers. That's an easy one to forget, but still, it had NEVER been done before, jumping off buildings in a city. When they fly through that falling building (digitally added, sure), WHOAH! 4. Building a digital building in a vacant lot was way more clever and inventive than people acknowledge... within an 8-10 block radius, at the heart of downtown Chicago, no less, Bay had at least four distinct "sets" operating, pretty much simultaneously. Without actually destroying the city, or shutting it down during the busy tourist months, Bay made it happen. Chicago didn't lose any of it's revenue from tourism. 5. The destroyed sections of building that toppled to the ground were exact matches to the actual architecture... excellent set construction and attention to detail, which is taken for granted. 6. The highway chase with the Dreads was almost entirely re-made, after the horrific stunt-gone-wrong during filming in Indiana... Bay recycled footage from "The Island", but re-engineered it brilliantly, and rescued what could have been a lot more production money wasted. Logistics, problem-solving and budgets are equally important to the final film... audiences don't usually care about how the movie gets made, but they should. If they realized what it took to make, they'd appreciate what they got a whole lot more. It's a HUGE gamble making a blockbuster, and if you end up recouping just the money spent making it, you did really well. Bay's Transformers, like it or hate it, did a lot of things masterfully and within budget. Oh, and it's made a mountain of money beyond what it cost to produce. That's not all that matters, but it is worth mentioning, after all. And if you post a comment, try to use your brain even a little bit: "Anonymous", in case you hadn't noticed, is taken already.Pixel Rallyhttp://pixelrally.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14846463.post-27025578106114751352011-09-12T11:51:15.532-04:002011-09-12T11:51:15.532-04:00Anonymous 7:22 Please try use dots next time, it&#...Anonymous 7:22 Please try use dots next time, it's much easier to read. I agree with you and I disagree with you. 1. Shockwave had atleast much better aim then G1 Shockwave who couldn't shoot for shit. I would have loved to see Marvel or IDW Shockwave in the movie, but Im okay with what we got. 2. There was a HUGE Decepticon army in Chicago if you remember. 3. It was never explained in the movie, but if you wanna know buy Foundation and you get the answer. 4. The Wreckers( Leadfoot, Roadbuster and Topspin ) distracted Shockwave while Optimus ran and got his trailer back. As much as I loved the movie I thought it could have been much better. Sharing my opinion as always.

Silverbolt1.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14846463.post-1965358606935892522011-09-12T07:22:56.436-04:002011-09-12T07:22:56.436-04:00I just want to say goodby to bayformers, I had eno...I just want to say goodby to bayformers, I had enough. Its not that I hate Bay I'm just sick of his version of Transformers, he has way to much toilet humor, not enough character development in humans or transformers, not enough transformations and not enough death matches and I just don't think he will ever change, all of his movies have the same style, good action and effects but the movie as a whole makes no sense, there's no reason for things that happen like Sentinal already being a firetruck for years without being scanned, Shockwave doing absolutely nothing, How did the Autobots get captured out of thin air, Drillerbot appears out of nowhere with no explanation of why its even exsist with shockwave, how did Optimus get his flight deck back and on and on. I know we must use are imagination for some things but there's only so much the brain can take, believe it or not I still thought the movie was fun but only when I turn off my brain and munch popcorn, but that's just my opinion.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14846463.post-343473966433068502011-09-12T03:54:27.148-04:002011-09-12T03:54:27.148-04:00What "transparent Megan Fox face" on Tra...What "transparent Megan Fox face" on Transformers2 is that guy babbling about?
Hey, dude, really what movie did you watch? Michae...@Martinus Prime 9/11/2011 9:16 AM: Exactly. Michael Bay and Paramount got hints directly from James Cameron on how to cheat on customers the best way, which means the whole Avatar scam.
As long as too many people act like sheeps and follow without using their own brains and just "say no" to these every manager, director and producer in the show biz will stop working hard to deliver quality and just go down the bad cheating route. If they see people giving them more money when they release bad products it will only get worse.
Transoformers3 was way cheaper than the first two movies on everything. Paramount claims on budget are just inflated and absolutely not true. Anyone should be able to see the tricks used to save on cost as much as possible.
The whole marketing machine for Transformers3 has been lame to say the least. Compare all of this with what Bay and Paramount did on the first two movies and the huge difference should be clear.
The first two movies were made to deliver best possible quality experience to customers and they worked hard and it shows, the third movie was made just for a quick buck and unfortunately even thanks to 3D ticket inflated prices too many people paid for a worse products without even questioning. That is bad because Transformers4,5,6 now might be just awful like Avatar as long as people keep paying for awful products more than excellent ones.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14846463.post-85092370543555770672011-09-11T09:16:54.168-04:002011-09-11T09:16:54.168-04:00I think the director´s audio commentary is for peo...I think the director´s audio commentary is for people who are studying to be a dirctor/filmmaker, or get them excited about the direting job.
But I don´t care about it either, it completely destroys the experience.

I think Bay/Paramount not only got the 3D virus from Cameron, they also inherited the marketing virus.
