"Yeah, we did some new scenes, some new shots, got to the set around 10 this morning," Gibson said in a group interview. "Today we officially wrapped Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Any missing pieces there were, we picked them up today. They're going to go ahead and put it in the chop shop and put the magic around it and go ahead and add it into the film."
What exactly were the pickup shots you did today?
Gibson: I can't really speak on it, but that was a nice try.
Did you get to go to Egypt?
Gibson: No, I didn't get to go to Egypt. I was supposed to go, but you won't be able to tell I'm not there. ...
Will you be part of the third one?
Gibson: I didn't die in 2. I can tell you that.
Based on Megan Fox's outfit, Shia's burnt shirt (as seen here), the background, and set, this appears to be pickup shots for the Egyptian desert sequences. They may also being doing pickups for Princeton based on the outfits of some of the other people on set. The magic of Hollywood where one scene has the potential to have been crafted from literally around the world. Thanks to Megatron for the video link.
looks like shia had to refilm that scene with megan where they jump off the building because the stunt double is clearly seen. plus you can see the double when m-tron is behind him in the desert shot in this new trailer

ReplyDeleteIf they're doing a re-shoot, it's probably to change how Sam is brought back after he is "killed" in an explosion. He is originally revived by the "gods" (Primes) in a dream, but I heard through the grapevine that that scene didn't play out very satisfactorily. Hence the revision.

-Optimus, after being revived by Jetfire, combines with the parts of other robots, before taking on The Fallen and defeating him.
-The U.S. military uses special artillery to take out Devastator...with the help of Agent Simmons (hence the photos of him on a walkie)

ReplyDeleteThey're not "still filming". They haven't filmed anything since last Fall. They are doing pickup shots. That's when you've got your edit all finished and realize you could really have used a shot of this or that, so you go back and shoot it while you still have the time.

YUP---He throws in 1 thing he thinks is a surprise w/already known info.
A coloring book {yeah a baby's book} told us that Simmons will have a hand in bringin down the house aka DEV's. Peter Cullen already said he recorded the opening before doing the rest of the film. The Fallen has magnetic powers---that wasn't a hard one to assume.....metal + electricity + teleportation + energy from the sun----seems easy enough.
Then his new one is Jetfire & Prime combine not only after Prime is revived but they use parts from other bots-----F'n B.S. What a total loozer---probably K-Fed's long lost twin :)

Although i dont see Sam or Mikela dying in this film in a leaked script Mikela was going to be almost killed by Megatron leaving the ending of the film with Sam thinking she is dead. While she is looking out over the battle that happened.

ReplyDeleteall right im calling it Mudflap, n arcee die. and to those of you that are wondering why you dont REALLY see Iron Hide, Ratchet and the other autobots in the trailer is because they have special role's in the film. Michael Bay said that you havent seen Jolt and the other autobots in the trailers and other clips in robot form that much because they have important role's in the film. also if you think back to the first films trailer's none of them included Brawl. and he had a more important role than BoneCrusher.

ReplyDeletethe red bot fitghing Bumblebee isn't rampage...or any of the constructicon we know about. This isn't coz of the colours....it's rampage's size..his about bumblebe siz...or twice as big.....and franckly thats too small
Now before you bash me...get this first:
- Devastator is HUGE, his mouth alone is has big has bumblebee...his face is bigger than optimus......and has we all seen in the trailer hisharms are quite big and long, and weel rampage is he's right arm..therefor h due to mass shifting he has to be at least 3,5 or 4 times bigger than bumblebee
Seriusly check out the trailer....rampage is at undergound with long haul to revive megs and he looks to be about the same size as long haul....from wut we could see long haul is much much more bigger than megatron
so by that logic..the red transformers cant be rampage.....maybe he's the 8th constructicon
i think he is just a guy who happens to also be a construction vehicle. not a constructicon at all.

i dont know if this proves anything but i just watched the trailer again, and noticed that on devastator at the end under his mouth is the same door or cabin thing that demolisher has. watch the trailer again, i think that demolisher is a construction who forms devastator now.
