Hasbro toy inserts in the latest wave of toys that are now starting to hit toy shelves has
revealed the intended release date of the first group of Transformers: Dark of the Moon toys.
The inserts show a towering image of Optimus Prime, with message "Look for official licensed products starting the week of May 16, 2011!" This aligns with around the time the toys hits shelves for the previous two movies. Even if the toys do not interest you, it mostly means that we will learn the names and bios on the names of various new Autobots and Decepticons that have joined the latest outing. Thanks to Udana for the link.
There is a rumor about TF3 movie a fight between starscream and megatron witch starscream will confront megatron regarding hes failures leading the deceptcons but unguard he got kill by shockwave...
ReplyDeleteWhere does this rumor come from? It's not unlikely, cause it's Bay's last TF, there will deadly casualties.
ReplyDeletesounds interesting :)
ReplyDeleteWhat did they do the designs? What did they do to Optimus? If those pictures are 1:1 to the CGI on the movie then it will be cartoonish and a great disappointment after the first two movies that had the best mechanical CGI to date.
ReplyDeleteAre they going to cartoonish low quality CGI to waste time on giving the gimmick useless fake 3D feature? So to have the movie in 3D the CGI must go downhill and look as cartoonish as that on Avatar? Why? Really, why??
The CGI on Resident Evil Afterlife despite the 3D and a way lower budget was photorealistic and hundreds times better than the cartoonish one on Avatar.
But Transformers2 CGI is top-notch and if Transformers3 CGI goes cartoonish the movie will have no chance. Unless they want to market it with pseudo-environmental nonsense and giving Autobots and Decepticons some flowers and paint the all blue...
Look to the right of the toys. The Toys you see there have nothing to do with how the movie will look.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 6:16 is a retard.
ReplyDeleteThats ONLY a poster of Optimus Prime, it has nothing to do with the CGI or the 3D. But there's retarded people who complain about the movie, when they havent seen it.
@Anonymous 11/21/2010 8:55 AM: and you insulting people are a genius,uh? Did you see the pictures there? Toys for the second movie were almost 1:1 reproductions of each Autobot and Decepticon. So why would Hasbro waste money building new toys that don't resemble the CGI in the movie now?
ReplyDeleteAnd those toys design just sucks, it has nothing to do with the photorealistic CGI on the movies and it looks like a new line of toys for a cartoon tv series or maybe videogames series but surely not for the movies.
what the hell did he just say?!
ReplyDeleteguys once again we're fighting... this time over toys! Please for love of Prime lets relaxe and talk about news thats on topic! And stop calling each other names what are we in the 3rd grade?!

ReplyDeleteIn case you haven't noticed, those toys are from the Reveal the Shield line. NOT from the new May 16 toy line.
