Transformers One has hit its fourth
weekend of release in the US and the numbers remain meh despite outstanding critic and viewer reviews. Over the weekend the movie took in $3.8M in the US for domestic total of $53M. International box office added $6.2M for an international total of $58.5M. So far the movie's worldwide total is $111.5 against a $75M production budget.
Its competitor, The Wild Robot, is currently sitting on $84.2M US and $65M international for total of $149.3. Better than Transformers but apparently not what Dreamworks was looking for as they have surprisingly made the movie available Monday via video on demand services like Apple TV, MoviesAnywhere, Fandango, etc.
lets hope the sequel will have better marketing
