Any case the email reads:
From: Sector7Sucks [Sector7Sucks@sectorseven.org]A reply to the above email address will fail for those thinking of trying. From this email, we know have the password "NBETWO" (no numbers in it) that provides access to a new email and video between Dr. Rebecca Howard and Lt. Col. Alexander Powers.
Subject: They must be stopped.
You have been inside Sector Seven. Thanks to me.
You¹ve seen a glimpse of their secret agenda, but there is much, much more. Enough to fill every hard drive in China. It is imperative that these operations be exposed to the world. With every passing second, the chances for the survival of the human race steadily decline. The peoples of the Earth must know the truth.
I believe this Dr. Howard may prove useful to the cause. Her research into NBETWO gives me some hope that we may have allies somewhere out there. Unfortunately, we have no way of locating or contacting them at present.
I¹m afraid this cloak and dagger routine must continue for some time. For now, I ask only that you spread the word. They must change their ways. In the future, however, I may call on you to take more drastic measures. For those of you still loyal to Sector Seven, suck on it.
X marks the spot.
So to access the new stuff, got to Sector 7 site, type in the password NBETWO (not case sensitive). Under the scorpion icon, the new email is a warning from security that Agent X infiltrated Sector Seven email system and sent out the above email and is now considered "Sector Seven's Public Enemy Number One. He has been officially marked for neutralization by any means necessary." I guess invasion takes a backseat to security breaches.
The video, under the Yield sign, continues the sound files argument between the two characters of this site and introduces a new "Non-Biological Extraterrestrial". Howard wants to tell people about the invasion as allies are needed. Powers wants more weapons. From there, apparently N.B.E. 102 has been spotted doing recon and searching for something. Best guess is this is Bumblebee.
The updates from the Sector 7 site are continuing in frequency, should be interesting how the story of the site is developed. Have two characters now established to have a history, probably romantic. Clash on approach to TF invasion issue. Hidden floors of a secret facility, secret videos, and someone wishing to trash it all. For a site that's designed to promote a movie, whoever is doing it is doing an outstanding job of making it worth following. Thanks to Shaw H. for the heads-up on the email.
Update: A site reader, Maximus, has pointed out that there are additional satellite images on the website. After logging in, click the third hard drive from the top. A box labeled "Tiger Team Assets" opens up revealing 4 documents. The first is a PDF and the next three are satellite images. The first image shows Navy action in the Sea of Japan. The second is a top view of a city, I am guessing Los Angeles. Possibly tracking the movements of Transformers? The last is a view of a weapon facility in unknown location. No idea what these images have to do with the movie.
I really like this site, sectorseven.org. It's a new spin on behind the scenes going ons but it's from a very unique and different direction. Kudos to the person behind the creation. To the host of transformerslive, please keep us posted on new password changes and updates. Great job so far.
ReplyDeletethis site is awesome...I luv how it works. Gets me into the movie more and more.
ReplyDeleteHey, so ya know, there's more added to the site than jes this. On the left side, where those harddrive lookin' icons are at, click the bottom one...it has 3 extra files now, and they almost seem like satilite images or somethin similar...
I updated that post to have all 3 emails as well as descriptions of the new PDF and 3 satellite feeds. I'm diggin' S7.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, btw, the original vids from the first two passwords (the one of jes Powers and the of Howard and Powers the first time) can be found on the last set of icons at the bottom, the last two bug ones.
ReplyDeleteif you read the PDF from John Ho, you can see that the satellite views relate to North Korean, European and Asian Peninsula activity. as a mention is made to accessing such data from the 'megaman's data storage device, my guess is that those areas are where megatron had identified as potential locations for the allspark and he was in hunting for it when he became entombed in ice.
ReplyDeleteis good how the website is developing on its own, i'm assuming NBE1 is megatron (as Prime is NBE2), but why is bumblebee NBE102... why not NBE3? have others been discovered in the past and just havent been told yet?
keep up the good work. t'is also clever how the studio/site developer is integrating the film fans by actually emailing the password to them/us via emials left on various forums... shows the developers are listiening to fans opinions by reading the forums, and is getting them involved by giving us the password directly, rather than just posting it which would be far far less covert.
ta ra for now
Who said that NBE102 is Bumblebee? It be Barricade or Blackout.
ReplyDeletewhere it be bumblebee or barricade, my question was why was the next 'NBE' to be seen labelld '102', and not just 3... seems t bvious choice t me as theyve already discovered one (megatron) and two (prime). 102 - 2 = 100... does that mean they are aware of another 100 'NBE's... they just havent mentioned them yet?!
ReplyDeletewe'll soon see
does anyone know if the 'prequel' comic will explain how the likes of bumblebee and barricade get to earth in the first place?
ReplyDeleteand also, how is sam/spike supposed to explain to his dad (who just PAID for a 1970's bumblebee) why he is now drivin a 2008 or 9 camero?! seems a little naiive to expect dad (sparlkplug) not to notice. then again, he could be a little more pre-occupied what with 30ft robots stompin t' shit out o' his rosh-bushes!
Ummm, isn't "Megaman" a copyrighted name from Capcom Ent. Ltd?
ReplyDeleteI heard "NBE102" at first, but that didn't make sense, so listening to it many times and I think it's either "NBE 1 and 2" or "NBE 1 or 2".
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to think that Bumblebee's been here since the 70s, but seems more likely to me that he just copied a beat up 70s model, but I could be wrong.
"Megaman isn't copyrighted to CAPCOM unless if you refer to a robot that looks like a boy, with blue armor/clothing, made my Dr. Light that goes fighting other robots. Tho there are references to the character, I'm not sure if it's enough for them to need to pay loyalties for.
i think we're supposed to assume bumblebee arrives shortly before we see him on film, and has just scanned a passing banged-up 70's camero, i.e. like jazz scans the solstice in the showroom, or ironhide scans the top-kick in the adjacent driveway. isn't prime supposed to scan a kentworth-style semi passing by whilst he's stood in trees just after transforming from protoform status?
ReplyDeletegod know's what scorponok scans to become his earth form?! it seems doubtful that 'scorpion' was his cybertron mode... doubt they have such 'bugs' up there. he never assumes a robot-form in the film does he... remains in alt.mode i think.
is bad marketing that the koreans get the film first... the best chance of maximising revenue from ticket sales is to use global simultaneous releases... us here in the UK don't get it til 27/7/07 (or 7/27/07 for you yanks).
Has anyone considered it might be a code for the difference between the Autobots and Decepticons. For example Megatron as NBE 1 but it could be Barricade or Blackout as NBE 1/02 being the second of the NBE 1 series they have discovered. Of course this only works if they describe one of the Autobots as NBE 2/02. I'm sure we'll find out in time.
ReplyDelete"god know's what scorponok scans to become his earth form?!"
ReplyDeleteI'd say he scans a scorpion, but since scanning organics doesn't work properly, he ends up the way he is in the film.
"For example Megatron as NBE 1 but it could be Barricade or Blackout as NBE 1/02 being the second of the NBE 1 series they have discovered."
Interesting take and it does make sense.
how are Sector7 supposed to know what is a Decepticon and what is an Autobot?! kinda deceives the whole point of 'robots in disguise' if people know who/what they are straight off. i reckon they'll just number them as they find 'em.
ReplyDeletethe guy in sector7 doesnt seem t trust either side of them so i cant see him distinguishing between the two sides, i.e. NBE1/2, 3, 4 or NBE2/2,3,4 etc... they all enemies to him.
besides, if they were numbered in series, then megatron/megaman would be NBE1/1 and Prime would be NBE2/1... we've never heard 'em mentioned as that before so t'is highly doubtful
Yeah it was just a suggestion. I suppose we'll find out in time anyway. I just figured that if that prof. has been in contact with Prime he may have given her some info about their differences.
ReplyDeleteGuess we'll just have to waut and see.
dont think prime has been in touch wi prof... hasn't all the translations been done from data taken from megatrons memory bank?
