Turns out there is a third version of the third and final theatrical trailer for Transformers. There is the US Yahoo Movies one, extended version, and now a Shrek version. The length is more or less the same but each has a few scenes that the other doesn't have. For the Shrek version, the biggest difference would be Scorponok having a few more moments. Below are three versions now on YouTube to compare against. The Shrek version was filmed, possibly by a cell phone, in a theatre so the quality is crap but can see enough to know what was changed. Hopefully a "clean" version will be released soon. I wonder if the Pirates 3 will be a fourth iteration of the same trailer? Thanks to Chad T. for the link.
does anyone know where all the trailers and tv spots can be downloaded from in HD? preferably the 480p version... please.
i know they can be watched on yahoo in HD but i want to download them so i can watch them over and over and over without having to wait for them to buffer.
Just a quick warning to anyone going to see Shrek just to see the new trailer: The theater doesn't have to actually show it. It's entirely up to the theater what gets shown and what doesn't, so if you go to Shrek you may see it or you may not.
That trailer actually has a lot of different stuff. Some of it is just combining old trailers and TV spots with the new one, but I saw a handful of new things. Like Prime skidding to a stop and transforming before the "Bring it" thing. Way cool. I too hope there's a cleaner version out there soon.
Awesome!! I gotta get to Shrek now cause that trailer looks sweet!!
ReplyDeleteI like Shrek and all, but if I were to go and see it my driving force would be to see the trailer

ReplyDeleteMan I've just found the password for vector-sigma.org: it is MEGAMAN and you have to input it with capslock enabled.
