Next Stop: Princeton
Based on information received here and there, Transformers 2 production is now finished in Philadelphia as of yesterday. The next stop is Princeton, New Jersey for the next 3 or so days. Exact number is unknown.
As for New York, when and where they are shooting remains unknown. So far I have not heard anything that indicates if its still in the schedule or not. A hiatus in the shoot is scheduled to start June 30th (thanks to the probable SAG strike) so if it’s going to occur it has to be late this week. Time (and leaks) will tell.
Back to Princeton, for the last several weeks Sunday has been the day of rest for the stars and the day the production crew packs things up and moves to the next location. Based on several reports I have already received it looks like they are already on the Princeton campus and begun some preprep. Emily has reported that she has spotted crew prepping McCosh 50 (classroom scene), Mathey Common Room and Holder Quad (dorm). She also saw a news copter doing a flyover, possible to capture some footage? David reported seeing the 'E7' signs along Faculty Road which appears to be base camp as he spotted trucks, trailers and cops guarding the area.
Hopefully full details will start to come out but there you go at least some indication that TF2 has made landfall at Princeton University. Thanks to Emily and David for their info.

From JD, comes the left picture and three more you can see here. He reports that the production and related trucks are along University Drive and will be filming a scene in Madison or Holder Hall. He also spotted dining trucks in the center of campus, one for the cast and one for extras (who will be based at Whig Hall).

so wait starting tommorrow "monday" they'll be filiming at the Princeton University campus ? i really wanna go does ANYONE have any specfic details ?
My cousin and I are on are way there we are going to get around and find somebody who knows something.

they are gonna be filming. I just came back from there a minute ago. Sent pics and info to the owner of the site.
The productions trucks were lined down university drive and scenes will be filmed in the Halls immediately next to the street (holder hall is one I remember)

For those of you that have been on the campus already, what is the best way to get in? Vistors parking? Any restrictions?

It's easiest to park in town, and then just walk into campus. Most of the filming is happening in and around the older part of campus just off Nassau st and Washington Rd. You'll see the yellow signs everywhere.
well visitors parking is probably the only way. cars normally arent allowed to park on campus. only thing is that right now we're hosting about a million high school campers that have taken over campus.
if you park in lot 23, or any of the visitors parking, its a bit of a walk from where they're filming. unless you're able to park somewhere along nassau st or in the surrounding residential area.
*Sigh* A hiatus starting June 30th... F*ckin' SAG...
did anyone apply for the princeton extras?
i did but i never heard from anyone
i ran into a member of the crew today because they were parked right outside of my dorm and he suggested that i apply again....but i dunno whats going on with that
yeh i applied to be an extra and ever heard from there either . but if thier filming tommorrow i'll be sure to be there . Thanks for all the info guys !

Hi, I'm a student here and when I saw all of the movie trucks on campus I had to find out what was going on! I saw the crew installing a lamppost on Washington Road across from Green Hall (our Psychology building), and according to the person I talked to they're going to film a car crash scene there sometime tomorrow morning.
Another strike...the SAG strike... The Unions really look and act like mafia. They do their best to create trouble to productions, they are so powerful that those not signed with them can't work in the business. This is insane. It must be stopped.
The Unions must be banned!
Does anyone know when exactly they're filming this morning? I just walked by, and they look like they're sort of setting up...
Ill be there this afternoon. For people looking for parking the best spots are prolly near the WaWa although you'll have a little walk, or right across from the bookstore - there is a parking lot there with meters
There is a large parking garage behind the Princeton Public Library that has lots of parking and is about 2 blocks to the main gates from campus.
Go down Witherspoon Street and make a right hand turn on to Spring street after a block or so -- the garage is on the left and can't be missed.
Lots of activity this morning. So cool.
I just got back from the set ! saw Shia filming the car scene and got to meet Megan Fox and she was so sweetthat she let me take a pic with her. She GORGEOUS its not even funny. This sequel is going to be awesome. My goal is now to meet Micheal Bay he's like my hero. Most of the set however is closed off and only extras are allowed at that part.

I dont want to be rude or anything but i dont feel it right that i post my personal photo on here because of privacy reasons.But i managed to take pics of the set etc. that i can post on here once i get to uploading them all. sorry . & you do not have to believe me i was there:).

i was there today and i saw shia and megan fox who by the way looked uglier than on tv maybe it was her double though but shia was so cute!! he was trying to skateboard nd kinda scked but he's still cute
^^^^not sure what you consider good looking because she was gorgeous when I saw her. Her double isn't that good looking.
Anyway they did a scene in the courtyard by holder hall in the morning and I saw the crash scene this afternoon with a small silver saturn car.
at 2pm they went to lunch and were supposed to do some scenes on the road at around 4 but i didn't feel like sticking around after ms.fox left
It sucked, they didnt have the Camaro, will they have any of the cars?
Got a few photos of Bay and Shia, they were filming a scene where Sam runs down the campus on his cell phone wearing a blue shirt and carrying a bunch of things. they filmed accross from the intersection of Washington and Williams Street.

I was able to see the 2009 Saturn that they're using in the movie, not sure if it is a decepticon or autobot but they crashed it into a lamp post that they built and put a huge 1 foot hole through the front using a shotgun somehow, so my guess is the Saturn bites the dust. I could not get any pics though, the only reason I saw the car is because I'm a state Poice Officer and flashed by badge at one of the Princeton guards. I sent the photos to this sites admin so hopefully he will put them up.
