As far as actual movie spoiler type information, not a whole lot that I could see. The ET report revealed that White Sands is dressed for a town in Egypt. Their footage, probably shot sometime in the last week was for day 66 out of the --- day production schedule. Also it appears where in the first movie the military characters did the globe-trotting it appears that Shia and Megan join them this time. As previously reported this could extend to include Sam's parents but that was not verified by either set report.
The Insider and ET have posted their videos online. The Insider video is here, ET one is here (or below).
Updated: Added the above picture to the post. The screenshot is from the Insider set report at the 3:12 mark. It appears to be an animatic of a fight sequence between Bumblebee and maybe Barricade but that is just a guess.
You are fantastic! Thank you so much for posting it! You rock!!!!
ReplyDeletestill think it cant beat dark knight. i will own all that is movies. mark my word.
ReplyDeleteI like the "Transformers Round the World" theme that's going on here...it definitely seems a hallmark to all the "UFO" sighting on the Sector 7 site.
ReplyDeleteThe effects are going to be big, flashy, stylish, and sparkly, no doubt...after all, it's a Michael Bay film. I hope he does the canon and characters justice...it looks like it's going to be awesome. I'm definitely taking a day off from my job at NASA for this! LOL
TF2 06/26/2009!
05.08.. Is that a huge blue transformer?
ReplyDeleteits from the 1st film
ReplyDeleteOK, I get the part where it's gonna be big. And huge. And full of epic explosions. haha
ReplyDeleteTF2 won't beat Dark Knight? make your bets, i just wish this movie at least could be 50% Bots 50% humans.
ReplyDeleteFYI, the sets for Entertainment Tonight and The Insider are inside the same soundstage at Paramount Studios...which is why they both aired segments, and the same footage, on TF2.
ReplyDeleteThat's synergy for ya. ;)
Wait a sec...F16s? Isn't Starscream an F16?
ReplyDeleteanyone else notice the new images of bumblebee fighting some new decepticon in the daytime....its at about 3:00, theyre holding something btween them and bumblebee kicks the decepticon.....and please dont say its him fighting barricade from the first movie...its daytime..just sayin that cuz someone is bound to say it..
ReplyDeleteStarscream is an F22-raptor..

ReplyDeleteWait a sec...F16s? Isn't Starscream an F16?"
In G1, Starscream and his cronies were F-15 Eagles. And as stated above, he was an F-22 Raptor in the first movie.
I want bay's cap, it has an autobot insignia on it :D
ReplyDeleteDid you notice that the F-16s were flying in pairs for the camera. 2 Planes = Thundercracker & Skywarp.
ReplyDeleteRemember they do not necessarily have to be exactly the same jet as Starscream. I hope those 2 Decepticons are in.
Lol, how stupid are you? the F-16's are just jets from the US air force assisting the US army, autobots and sam and michaela on the hunt for Scorponok (and some others perhaps) obviously. And as we clearly can see, they are bombing the area where Scorponok and/or some others are hiding.
ReplyDeleteI doubt that one F-16 would do the job, so there had to be two or more F-16's to do the job.
IF there SHOULD be Thundercracker and Skywarp in the movie (which I highly doubt they will be) they would be most likely be F-18's (Hornets) or F-22 like Starcream, just different looking perhaps.
^ how do you know they are hunting for scorponok? yeah, its the same location they filmed the scene from the first movie, but its suppose to be a different fictional location. I on't think you can say for sure that they're hunting for scorp's....
ReplyDelete^You're right, we don't know that they're hunting for Scoponok, although the possibility is intriguing...certainly can't blame our Air Force guys for wanting to take the little fragger down after what he did to a bunch of their teammates.
ReplyDeleteI hope they frag Scoponok up, personally. :)
Referencing an earlier post, it does seem that it's a "spin" on the Jordanian flag that they had flying on the set previously, but if it's supposed to be Egypt...maybe another false info leak? Only time will tell, anyone have any input on that?
One thing I hated about this special report (the one on, "The Insider"), is this: really NO information on the namesake of the movies - the TRANSFORMERS themselves was given.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the intro to the ET report made no mention of the Transformers (who'll have to be added in post) themselves, as if only having the human characters by themselves is the sole selling point for this film, and as if there was no imaginary transforming robots that the human characters were fighting. So I guess the humans were just blowing stuff up to blow it up, right? That's the impression that maybe someone who is becoming familiar to TF for the first time might mistakingly get (not me - I've been into TF since G-1). Yes, I know there's not much info being given out about the plot, but damn - they could still at least SHOW some of the robot designs without giving the plot away!!!!
Also, I hated how they asked about Shia LeBeouf's lovelife - what the #$@! does that have to do with the movie? I'm a Guy, and if The Insider or ET wants to do "Love Connection" DO IT ON ANOTHER SHOW ENTIRELY, Dammit!!!!
Sometimes reporters (MANY, not all) are like ANDROIDS - many don't seem to be able to exercise some gray matter ability outside of what their corporate bosses tell them to report on, and how they are told to report on it.
Sorry for my rant, but alot of mainstream media, especially shows like the two mentioned, to me are nothing more than TV versions of those gossip rags in the checkout aisle at your local supermarket.
^Something you also have to take into account is that Bay is going to extreme lengths to protect the content of the script...revealing even a little bit about the actual Transformers themselves will leave a lot of people able to figure out the plot even before the movie comes out in theaters...
ReplyDeleteIt was cool hearing about the actors and seeing the fighter jets, but you're right, I wish they had given us a tiny hint or two about what Transformers (Autobot or Decepticon) we can expect to see...
Although for all we know, what ET or the Insider could have been told could have potentially been false leaks too...
At 7:33, is that the Scorponok sound effect they also applied in the first movie?
ReplyDeletethis not giving any info seem s bad but i think its better. cause if we know a little about the plot, we dont wonder what will happen like now ?
ReplyDeleteand from a source i heard that the sector seven's vehicle will transform into a decepticon : Stockade
might not be true too !!
At 3:16 is a car that becomes censored a split second later mmmh...
ReplyDeleteWho do you think that censored car is this has been bugging me all day! I can't make out the car because of the poor quality of my computer screen!
ReplyDeleteThe cast is wrapping up at White Sands. I wanted to say that Kevin Dunn is wonderful. He is kind and gracious. Josh is quite awesome with everyone. He does autographs and pictures on his terms and we respect that because he always follows through. Tyrese, well, he is Tyrese and he knows it. Megan is not so nice and has let stardome go to her head. Michael Bay, what can I say, YIKES!! The world does not revolve around you. Finally Shia, I was happy to finally meet him and have said good things about him until now. He has gotten rude. Kudos to Josh and Kevin and shame on all the others who have not lived up to what you would expect of them.
ReplyDelete"Where are you guys from?"
ReplyDelete"ET"
"What's that?"
LOL!!!
the picture update from the video looked like a sequence from the TF game.. not an animatic pre-fight scene planning or what ever
ReplyDeleteThis movie will break Dark Knights record, look Batman Begins only made 50 million dollars at the box office, then made over $500 million with the Dark Knight. Transformers made $323 million with their first movie, and sold more dvds than Batman Begins which means more people saw the first transformers. Which leads to a poll on the internet that asked who would watch Transformers: ROTF 86 percent said they would watch it so I think that the second transformers film is going to break dark knights record!
ReplyDeleteYEHHHHH INCOMING THE NEXT MOVIE!!!
ReplyDeleteI buy shaiya gold, just because I like it.
