The first issue of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Adaptation will hit newsstands on May 20th. One of the covers is to the right and I believe the entire four issue series is coming out weekly leading up to the movie. The adaptation will be written by legendary Transformers comic writer Simon Furman with art by Josh Nizzi.
I have yet to decide if I will summarize each issue as it will give away the entire story. Sure this is a spoiler site but most of the time the information is best guesses and unconfirmed. Since this will come straight from one of the script drafts, but not necessarily the shooting script, that will no longer be the case. Maybe use invisio-text to make it easier for people to skip over.

I think you should put a 'spoiler cover' on all the things that will give away important plot points. But you can do whatever you want, it's your blog.
ReplyDeleteNo summaries. I don't want to just have the story read to me before the movie comes out. I want to figure out the story for myself by watching it.
ReplyDeleteYa use the inviso text cause i for one at least want to know the first issue. Must see sidesswipe
ReplyDeleteWrite it. If anyone is worried about spoilers just make it so you only see the thing when you click the link. Either that or write in writing that can only be seen when highlighted or spoiler tagged.
ReplyDeleteAlso i am a bit confused as isent Revenge of the Fallen coming out in june not May. Humm it seems a bit silly to have the adaption come out before the film. Though i suppose the first issue will basicly go over how the Allspark came to be then go onto Sams life then end with them having a fight with Sideways or Demolisher however it will probably end on a Cliff hanger. Anyways the cover art looks good and is more revealing than you think as it shows that more TF`s are arriving on earth.
"it seems a bit silly to have the adaption come out before the film."
ReplyDeleteNo, it doesn't. It happens with every movie.

Yeah, that's kinda what invisio-text is.

Holy freakin' crap! More Transformers arrive on earth! That's the ultimate spoiler of the year! I would have never guessed that after seeing the trailers and commercials and everything else that's been on this freakin' blog. Thanks for the spoiler tip!
no one would buy it if it came out after the film, or certainly a lot less.
ReplyDeletethat has always been the point of adaptations, a first look.
Its the Aerialbots... all 5 protoforms...
ReplyDelete"though i suppose the first issue will basicly go over how the Allspark came to be then go onto Sams life"
ReplyDeletenot unless that happens in the movie. adaptation means its going to be a retelling of the movie itself.
Scorpio ... you say you're from the UK... how come you make a lot of spelling mistakes?
ReplyDeleteAhh Punch, I am SO hoping you are right!!!

Given he didn't know what a film adaptation was and the style of his writing, he couldn't be more than say.....15 years old?
ReplyDeleteWhat does being from the UK have anything to do with the amount of spelling mistakes that one makes?
ReplyDeleteJust because he speaks the Queen's English means he can't spell Decerpticins wrong?
It doesn't matter what country you're from,no one masters his own language of his country spellingwise. And you always can forget something while you're typing.

MP - Im gonna quote what Hook said to Scrapper in one of the episodes from G 1 regarding my assumption those 5 protoforms are the Aerialbots & seeing Prime & Bee both in combat mode.
ReplyDelete" This is bad news, Scrapper. They brought out the heavy artillery."
I told myself already that I was gonna completely avoid this site a few weeks before the movie comes out and just refer to the official site. This site gives away way to much and I still want to enjoy the movie with the element of surprise. I like the site a lot, but leave it up to them and they will give EVERY SINGLE DETAIL AWAY. Trust me they will. This one dies, that one dies, this one did this, this one did that. Who thinks otherwise? Believe me they won't be able to help themselves. It's a movie folks, let's enjoy it......
ReplyDeletewill these adaptaions come out in the uk aswell
ReplyDeletedont summarize
