Giant Gundam Replica in Action

The giant Gundam robot replica I reported about last year is now up and running and the result is pretty spectacular. Apparently this is a first of a series of replicas. The next one is Tetsukin (Gigantor) which is already under construction. I just want to know when it will be Transformers turn. Any case below is a video of the completed robot/statue doing its thing.

  1. I think it's GUNDAM...not Gundum.

  2. That second picture Gigantor (t-28) has a new movie coming out next year. Not a lot of people know about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwzhhsCAu9a

  3. this is extremely popular in all of asia. i know since im asian too. it may have a simple design like the 80's transformers, but this is an exact replica of the original character. nothing is missing. its pretty awesome. im pretty sure they might not be able to create an exact replica of today's transformers because the complexity of the design won't be able to hold such pressure, but im positive they can do the 80's transformers. in fact, they should.

  6. Gundam movie? Absolutely!! That'd be wild. I'm sure there are heaps of Japanese 3D gundam movies, I'll have to find some. But I'm doubting there's any live-action & CGI one like the TF movies.

  8. Last time a Gundam movie was made with human actors in it it was a joke, so lets not ruin Gundam's image . It is fine as it is...

  9. But still, with better directors now, they could make one...

Come to think of it TF is more fairy tale kind of story.. where the robots talk and stuff... but gundam is kinda based in reality and it became a franchise already..

i think they just have to concentrate on a good script, good actors and of course best budget XD
