R2-D2 Spotted in Transformers 2
Way back in June, it was leaked that R2-D2 makes a cameo appearance in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen but exactly when was never revealed. Thanks to Jetfire_J here is the proof of his very brief appearance as part of the debris field during the desert fight.
Update: From the comments, the moment occurs during the merge of Jetfire's parts to Optimus Prime, specifically at 2 hours 17 minutes and 52 seconds into the movie.

I had to click to enlarge the pic to be convinced. It is square looking because it shows R2 from below. His "feet" are square.
Sooo.....what's the time index on that frame?
You can see R2D2 when Optimus gets jetfires parts.
so at 2hrs 17minutes and 52 seconds (2:17:52) you can see him.

I'm a star wars fan too big time and it was a part of my childhood long before transformers ever was yeah I'm just that old enough to have the pleasure of experiencing them both the first time around.
Anyway R2D2 is in there i'm sure because ILM does most of the special effects and ILM was started and created by george lucas aka mr star wars himself! :P
Thats a pretty cool side-note about the movie. I think they should have spent less time on R2 and more on the plot development
