It also seems that a new Transformer may have entered the scene with a red Jeep spotted in beautiful condition (vs. the damage of the rest of the non-TF vehicles being used). The video (below) from MGRead, shows it on the back of a production truck so nothing definitive, just something to keep an eye out for. Two other videos show more filming from the last few weeks, behind the scenes stuff and Josh P provides more footage with a little CGI insertion of 'Bee for fun.

What is that rig attached to the back of that Jeep? Like some sort of harness to attach a crane or heli to for a flying stunt maybe? Like that Suburban with the "rubber" frame. Maybe we will see if that pans out.
ReplyDeleteits cliffjumper!!!! ;p
ReplyDeleteProlly Rollbar, I dont think its Hound. http://www.film.queensu.ca/cj3b/Photos/Toys/Transformers/TransAlternatorsRollbar.jpg
ReplyDeleteLMFAO Shia smokes a joint on set. http://thechive.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/transformers3-behind-scenes-42.jpg
ReplyDelete@chknwing
ReplyDeleteSorry, that's not a joint, it's a hand rolled cigarette. Shia rolls his own and has been spotted rolling them for himself and other cast members a few times. Rolling your own cigarettes tastes a hell of a lot better and it costs quite a bit less. Sure, it's a bit more work, but it's worth it.
Is that Shia lying on the ground, next to the fallen building??
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure about a hero moment for Dempsey here, pretty sure he looks and is acting like one of the main bad guys of the film (who eventually gets his in the end).
ReplyDeleteTrailbreaker!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Jeep is a creation by TommyBuilt: http://www.myspace.com/tommybuilt
ReplyDeleteThe thing on the back used to be a stripper pole. Probably now is meant to hold a spare 54" tire. Maybe Michael Bay just wanted some on-set entertainment!
Cute little rover vehicle. Is it sentient or driven by humans?
ReplyDeleteI seen a Youtube video with a gun mounted to that attachment with the gunner standing on the slideout platform. That Jeep is way too much a showpiece for a movie prop. That is not to say it will not be in the film at some point, like you said just on set entertainment. After all I was wrong about the Can Am Spiders used by the NEST guys in Revenge Of The Fallen.
ReplyDeleteTFW2005 has some better pictures of it. With an Autobot crest above the JEEP logo, and ROLLBAR across the hood.
ReplyDelete@HammerZ:
ReplyDeleteThe Jeep is way too much of a show piece? What to think about the Camaro concept for Bumblebee in TF1, it was the only one build on the planet!!! So they had to be very, very careful not to damage the Camaro during filming!
guys i think Unicron is in the movie cus in one of the photos ,patrick is going to shot shia and then hi looks like his being control it all makes sense cus unicron can control other life forms..and both of them were looking at the sky like something big is coming...and all so in the comics of transformers nefarius optimus is worried that some thing big is coming ..and he refers to it as a he ,he say some one ..it gave me the chills .lets prey this is true guys...i love bayformers and g1 ,cant wait for the movie ...im sorry for my bad inglis im hispanic sorry.. :D
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to imagine the Jeep dodging decepticon fire without tumbling. I mean look at Ironhide true its a large 4x4 truck but still it is made so the stunt drivers can zip around rubble on set. The Rollbar Jeep just looks comical with more tires than body. Someone else pointed out that it looked like Wheelies father. Fact is that thing was built for the show circut and not as a stunt piece. In the newer pictures the thing looks like a copy built on a rock rig chassis, some of the extra shiny bits are not there.
ReplyDeleteThe Bumblebee Camaro from the first film was based on a Pontiac GTO floorpan with the body patterned after the concept car. For Fallen they got to use one of the actual concept cars. At least this time around BB is built on a production Camaro.
That's not true HammerZ, the Camaro is still based on the Pontiac, or better said, the Vauxhall Monaro VXR, that's what they do in the car industrie. There is no Camaro chassis.
ReplyDeleteBB in TF1 had no body patterned after the concept, it is the concept car, that's why they call it a concept car!!
