  1. I know understand what they were trying to do with this mini-series, they come to tell us "It's going to be like the movies, only better.."

    :D

  2. I love how they ended it with Optimus Prime seding out a message.

  3. I have this feeling Transformers Prime is something more along the lines to what Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman originally intended the movies to be like, if Michael Bay had never been involved.

(Not that I hate the movies, the first one is still good, the second one is a very pretty train-wreck, but it did have a lot stacked against it during production. Hopefully the third will be awesome!)

    I can't wait until February!

All in all, this was a nice start. The bots could be a bit less smooth, with more bits and pieces of their veihicle form showing up, but they're still very nice. Brian Tyler's music sounds good, especially the main theme (my gripe is that, with the damned commercials and promos we don't get to hear it over the end credits, with no dialogue), would love a score CD of this (though i doubt one will come). Now the long wait begins.

  6. What are the 2 references from the Transformers: The Movie that are being referred to? One is likely the quote "At the end of this day, one shall stand and one shall fall" but I am drawing a blank on what the other is.

    Thanks,

    Brian

  7. Ratchet (of all bots) says "Light our Darkest Hour" which is the second reference to the movie.

  10. The animation of this series is a little bit too "animated", but the story is great, much darkness and epicness ;)

  11. Awful crap...

  12. My only complaint is the utter lack of people. Otherwise, I give this series a two thumbs for overall quality in comparison to past attempts to animate them. I haven't seen CGI this good since Beast Wars and Beast Machines.

  13. wish if the CG was like final fantasy or resident evil....or they could have made like that the video games CG...what too much $$$$?

  14. Vee,

Beast Wars is 11 years old. It's like giving thumbs up for the latest book because it's written on clay tablets, in Sumerian... graphics wise BW ruled, but Prime sucks...

  15. I dont understand why all of you are posting anything positive about this show. I cant stand watching it, the transformers babysitting little kids the numerous movie references, can you guys not come up with original material. The bots act like little teenage kids, and megatron raising an undead army of bots, what is this resident evil meets transformers? The bot design is crap they all look cheesy especially with the faces they really messed up on bot design with the faces. Seriously, the first episode the kids are complaining because they have to get home because its their bed time and you have one of the autobots babysitting the kids at their base in a freaking jam session playing percussion are you freaking kidding me??? This show is trash I hope they decide nto to reair it in febuary its a disgrace to the transformers name!!

  17. I don't understand why people are still allowed to post anonymously here and have nothing good to say, ever. They like to come here and talk junk. I personally like the Transformers Prime series so far. And you know what? I'm not going to post it anonymously. And if I had a bad opinion of Transformers Prime, I wouldn't post anonymously either. I'm not afraid to post my opinions and let everyone know who is posting it.
