Over all there are not really any surprises since most of them leaked early like Ultimate Optimus Prime, Shockwave, and Megatron. A few did grab my attention such as a first look at leader class Ironhide, a look at the Space Station mode of The Ark, the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, and Skyhammer is the voyager class helicopter. As for prices, it is in the expected range - Leader ($39.99), Voyager ($19.99), Deluxe ($11.99), and Ultimate ($79.99).
With the release of Hasbro's official images for the Mech Tech line we might just have the official names of a few Transformers, at least judging by the posted files names. Assuming the names are accurate then green Wrecker is Roadbuster, blue Wrecker is Top Spin, and Crankcase is name of the SUV (not Dread). So far no info on the third Wrecker.
There is also a new Transformers line called KRE-O. This seems another attempt to make a Lego-like line for Transformers. The price ranges will vary going from $7.99 to $59.99. So far Hasbro has released images of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Starscream. Additional KRE-O figures will be Mirage, Prowl, Ratchet, Sideswipe, Red Alert, Megatron, Sentinel Prime, Bluestreak, and Skywarp. The details and gallery is here.
Below are links to many of the various images galleries along with links to the videos that Seibertron posted from the Toy Fair.

ReplyDeleteArk has space station mode? I hope this is the alternate mode for...
ReplyDeleteOMEGA SUPEREME
wait, no identity given for red wrecker, there's still a possibilty for hot rod?
ReplyDeleteNo I'd say there is little if no chance its hot rod. Because he isn't a Wrecker.

Leadfoot seems to be given at the bottom. I dont know if thats accurate but its probable. Ive been paying attention to the wiki and its been keeping up with any confirmed news of toys and bay co. So im guessing the Leadfoot news is out there in toy land. I thought it was going to be Twin Twist.
To poster above are you talking about the red Wreckers name or a site?
ReplyDeleteDouble post. I just read at the Michael Bays official forum that the red Wrecker is Leadfoot. Im not happy about their names, like Topspin and Leadfoot there likely new names. Roadbuster sounds good. I hope the Ferrari and the Mercedes will have a good name.
ReplyDeleteI am totally getting Leader Ironhide.
ReplyDeleteBut from the looks of the Hasbro pics compared the Toy Fair ones, Ironhide isn't transformed correctly. The front wheels are supposed to be pivoted horizontally into the wheel bay, and the rear wheels are supposed to be pivoted facing backwards. I saw one Toy Fair pic where it's completely done right.
Aaauurrgghh~
Can't they ever get someone to transform the robots correctly for publicity shots? Man... even KIDS know how to do this, it's ridiculous.
Loving the new Autobots.... That heli looks sleek
ReplyDeleteBoth Roadbuster and Topspin are original Wreckers in TF history. Leadfoot comes from G2 and i guess fits in with the wreckers kinda... Should have went with another Wrecker I think though. But oh well i guess. I have my old G1 Topspin toy and am kinda happy to see him in the movie. Even if he is a car now.
ReplyDeleteBoring that there's still nothing about Ferrari, Mercedes or Superfund truck.
ReplyDeleteso far not found any official picture of shockwave in high definition
