Countdown To Trailer Spaceship Image

While it isn't a Transformer, can't say I am complaining as Apple Trailers has posted the third movie still from Transformers: Dark of the Moon before the trailer debuts Thursday at 7PM EST. The image of a Decepticon spaceship joins Shockwave and Carly stills released in the last two days. Also Apple posted the Bumblebee banner without the text and watermark. Net result is now can pick your poison on wallpaper. According to MB.com admin Nelson, a fourth and final image will be posted tomorrow at 11am EST. Thanks to Feris and Sideburn for the heads-up. Update: From the comments, the DOTM Facebook page has also posted the text-less banners for Optimus and Shockwave here but the size is a bit small.

    Now that's awesome....it looks like those ships are dropping off decepticons or drones or whatever you wanna call them..you can see two of them in front of the damaged building on the right, another one just to the left of the ship like he just got released from the ship and two more on top of the building below the ship....man, this is looking good...soo much destruction!

    That CGI looks cartoonish.. Either they are really behind schedule due to 3D gimmick or thanks to 3D the CGI quality plummeted to cartoonish levels.
    If that is the final rendering it's bad.

    It's a STILL IMAGE! Of course it doesn't look right, right away. But when you see it in motion, with all the details they put into all the moving parts, you will eat your words.

    That ship is not that large if you scale it using those transformers on the roof top below it...more like small assault ships.

    Either way...this movie looks epic so far !! :D

    I wonder which two robots those are beneath the huge alien ship on top of the building. One kind of looks like the fallen to me just basically judging from it being hunched and the way the feet are. Still to blurry to say for sure certain though

    The CGI is a letdown. It does look bad indeed compared to the first two movies. Look at the buildings, look at the ship .. it seems right for a console game but where the heck has the amazing photorealism gone??
    Obviously ILM doesn't have time to do the CGI properly and so they are trying to sell this bad rendering and they will tell us that "it is to ensure the best 3D experience ever".. and other marketing bull.

    Hey someone on tfw2005 raised a good point...look at the building behind the one with the blue lights around it...what does that sign say on top of the building...UNICRON?? I can only blow the pic up so much usin my p.o.s laptop,maybe someone can blow it up and sharpen the pic up a bit!!!

    I was trying to get to sharpen the picture some but it's too small for me to be able to sharpen it enough to really see what it says for certain. It does look there is a possible that it does say Unicron.

    James Avery was rumored to lend voice talent to dotm but it was never confirmed by bay himself but still could be a possibility though...anyway did anyone ever find out what that sign said on top of that building on the left behind the one with the blue power beams??

    His doors are there. You can barely see the tip of one of them. They actually move around a lot during the movie. It's kind of interesting to see that in ROTF.

    There is one thing I did notice though, that the new BB's back-mounted wheels are moved towards the back of the doors rather than the front. That presents an interesting dilemma for my new BB costume because the wheels mounted in the front actually look better.

    Then, the real stuff starts. We see a giant blue beam in the middle of what I'm assuming to be Chicago shoot up to the sky. It then shows the moon and the ships we've seen attacking Chicago plus the drone type Transformers coming out of the ground on the moon. Then they start running towards the "fish looking motherships", which are also on the moon. Followed by the drones phasing out of the blue beam that's in the city. So teleporting essentially. I'm guessing it's some sort of space bridge type device? Then they start creating chaos on Earth.

    I recall James Avery's agent/manager confirmed Avery for Silverbolts voice. I only can't recall if it was for the movie or the game. But I'm not in the mood to dig in the archive. We'll have to wait until the we see the movie.
    If there is no aerial support from the U.S. military for our soldiers, I think there is a big chance we could get to see Silverbolt.
