Paramount Pictures has officially confirmed that the official title of TF4 is Transformers: Age of Extinction. The title was discovered yesterday, along with titles of potential video game tie-in products. They also provided a poster that is just the known TF4 logo and the release date of 6/27/14. The desert look for the poster may be potentially hinting at the Dinobots, also recently officially confirmed as part of the movie's story. A spanish version of the poster is here. MichaelBay.com has posted various sizes of the poster here. Thanks Wynton R. and Luis R. for the links.

AGE OF EXTINCTION!!! I like it, I like the poster too. DINOBOTS!! This should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteAll that Bay had left was to ruin everyone's memories of the dinobots...well done
ReplyDeleteNo their is alot more he can screw up....I was pumped to see Shockwave in the last movie, but they made him a big puss(like the Fallen) I was pumped to see Devastator in the second movie & that wasn't that big of a disappointment BUT they had Constructicons walking around while Devastator was walking around....so lesson learned, I'm interested to see the Dinobots but not pumped.
DeleteBoo Hoo Hoo, Always someone negative and always someone cryin
ReplyDeleteFo real! I think MB has done a mighty fine job! If the movies are so bad, why do millions upon millions of fans continue to go and watch them? I believe this one will be colossal!
DeleteBecause we keep hoping he will have done it justice, then we end up being dissapointed and can't get our money back.
Deletelol ruin memories???The Dinobots were the lamest characters in the cartoons if anything Bay will make them cooler because they can't get much worse than they already are.
ReplyDeleteYou motherfucker! The Dinobots are the shit!
DeleteKeep it civil, you idiot, or you will rejected from the blog.
DeleteBut the Dinobots are indeed, awesome. I love the title and the poster.
I'm very curious what Bay makes of them and how they are introduced.
"Keep it civil, you idiot"
DeleteIrony.
Dinobots must have something different than in the film.
DeleteI'm saying their characters were lame not their alt modes. Them being dumb brainless robots was lame.
DeleteHere come the trolls out of mommies basement
ReplyDeleteBTW most of the people that complain are 80 stuck ild farts who hate eveything new and that these movies don't follow story plot but then we would already know what happens
ReplyDeleteAll yall butts will be in seats stuffing the beaks with popcorn and drinking flat sodas. Ready set BOOM!!! BAYSPLOSIONS!!! HA HA HA HA HA you know you be sittin there. BOOM!!!
ReplyDeleteAll hail Megat...........I mean Galvatron.
ReplyDeleteI heard Bay was going to have the dinobots looking like real dinosaurs. Similar to Jurassic Park. Anyone else heard anything about that?
ReplyDeleteIf I remember well, Dinobots were created here on Earth by the Autobots. Let's see how Michael Bay explains their existence.
ReplyDeleteIt could be more like in the comics. Marvel Comics continuity:
DeleteThe Dinobots in the Marvel comic were not created on Earth, as in the cartoon, but were a distinct and pre-existing unit of five Autobot soldiers who were aboard the Ark when it crashed to Earth. The comic Dinobots, while not exactly Perceptor-grade, were significantly more intelligent than their cartoon counterparts. (Their commander, Grimlock, served as overall Autobot Commander on more than one occasion.) However, they were not as strong as their cartoon counterparts, either.
Shortly after the crash, the Ark's computer detected Shockwave landing on the planet in the Antarctic land-out-of-time that would one day become known as the Savage Land. The Ark used the last of its capabilities to revive these five warriors and rebuild them to transform into the Savage Land's dominant lifeform: dinosaurs. The Last Stand They were then dispatched to deal with the Decepticon, where they sank to the bottom of a tar pit and remained dormant until Ratchet revived them in the 1980s.
I think Bay will use this over the cartoon explanation. I don't care what Bay and Kruger thought up, as long as it's somewhat original en fits in Bay's universe.
MB did the Wreckers justice because they were badass so I'm not worried
ReplyDeleteAnyone remember the autobots/decepticons are gonna be fighting common enemy? Not unicron I'm thinking dinobots go rogue before learning who they are...that's all
