Transformers: Age of Extinction Officially Confirmed With New Poster

Paramount Pictures has officially confirmed that the official title of TF4 is Transformers: Age of Extinction. The title was discovered yesterday, along with titles of potential video game tie-in products. They also provided a poster that is just the known TF4 logo and the release date of 6/27/14. The desert look for the poster may be potentially hinting at the Dinobots, also recently officially confirmed as part of the movie's story. A spanish version of the poster is here. MichaelBay.com has posted various sizes of the poster here. Thanks Wynton R. and Luis R. for the links.

    1. No their is alot more he can screw up....I was pumped to see Shockwave in the last movie, but they made him a big puss(like the Fallen) I was pumped to see Devastator in the second movie & that wasn't that big of a disappointment BUT they had Constructicons walking around while Devastator was walking around....so lesson learned, I'm interested to see the Dinobots but not pumped.

    1. Fo real! I think MB has done a mighty fine job! If the movies are so bad, why do millions upon millions of fans continue to go and watch them? I believe this one will be colossal!

  9. I heard Bay was going to have the dinobots looking like real dinosaurs. Similar to Jurassic Park. Anyone else heard anything about that?

  10. If I remember well, Dinobots were created here on Earth by the Autobots. Let's see how Michael Bay explains their existence.

It could be more like in the comics. Marvel Comics continuity:

The Dinobots in the Marvel comic were not created on Earth, as in the cartoon, but were a distinct and pre-existing unit of five Autobot soldiers who were aboard the Ark when it crashed to Earth. The comic Dinobots, while not exactly Perceptor-grade, were significantly more intelligent than their cartoon counterparts. (Their commander, Grimlock, served as overall Autobot Commander on more than one occasion.) However, they were not as strong as their cartoon counterparts, either.

Shortly after the crash, the Ark's computer detected Shockwave landing on the planet in the Antarctic land-out-of-time that would one day become known as the Savage Land. The Ark used the last of its capabilities to revive these five warriors and rebuild them to transform into the Savage Land's dominant lifeform: dinosaurs. The Last Stand They were then dispatched to deal with the Decepticon, where they sank to the bottom of a tar pit and remained dormant until Ratchet revived them in the 1980s.

I think Bay will use this over the cartoon explanation. I don't care what Bay and Kruger thought up, as long as it's somewhat original en fits in Bay's universe.
