AICN.com has posted a front, back and face pics of Optimus Prime. These images are much clearer then the previouslyreleased pics. At first glance, I can't say I liked the design, but the more I look at them, the more I am digging them. (source)
I think optimus looks awesome! But i think i now know who's eye that was in the background of the transformers movie poster that appears from over earth, judging from the design i'm betting my money that it's optimus! All this time i thought it was Megatron.
First of all, I still like how the movie Optimus looks. but still, why does hollywood have to too damn logical? I mean, why can't they just do the G1 Optimus Prime as it is? T_T
whoever desighned this prime is on crack!, that face looks well goofy, and since when was prime a big tacky las vegas show truck, this movie is gonna be such a fuckin dissapointment
that "tacky las vegas show truck" as you called is better than a majority of primes incarnations. i wonder how many of you complained when optimus prime became a fire truck... or better yet, a FLYING fire truck.
it doesnt matter what form he takes, optimus will always be optimus. its the heart of an idea that matters, not its appearances
Listen, I have been a fan of the original transformers especially Optimus Prime since it was first put on TV. I was so into the idea of seeing this movie when I heard about it. It was like my childhood all over again but why can't they just use the original transformers and CGI then or something. We have computer programs out there that make things look totally real and I tell you what it would be a lot less gay then the flames that Optimus now has. They are playing with the look of the Transformers too much/ So much so that it isn't going to be the same for anyone that ever watched the show. It just proves that you can't go back in time because if you have ever caught a new episode the transformers they have made the characters retarded and everything is Anime now rather then american. The idea of building a real deal robot is cool but to me it looks like Johnny Five with a bit of style. The could have a least build one that looks like the transformers we know and love. Thats it, thats all folks!!!
