Catalog Scans of Move Transformers Including Megatron In Color

TFW2005 has posted up a scan from a catalog that shows what the final designs of multiple move Transformers will be. You have the "Leader" class of Optimus Prime and Megatron. Prime looks good, Megatron has improved from previous leaked pictures with the additional detail and color but still not entirely sold on him. The "Deluxe" class has the 1976 Camaro Bumblebee, Barricade, Brawl, and Jazz. All of them looking pretty darn good and toys I most likely will add to my collection. Next is the "Cyber Stomping" versions of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Not sure what these are as they don't transform. Last is the Optimus Prime Big Blaster mentioned before that shoots nerf balls. Just guessing but I am thinking the "Deluxe" line will retail for $19.99 and the "Leader" class for $24.99.

Its just a guess but this might be part of the first wave of the toy line for those classes. Still missing from the Deluxe line is Ratchet, Bonecrusher, Ironhide, Blackout, Scorponok, and 2007 Bumblebee. From the Leader class is the earth mode version of Megatron. Then there is the cheaper $9.99 and $6.99 price points that Hasbro likes to hit such the "Fast Action Battlers" of all the above and the various "Protoform" toys unless Optimus and Starscream are the only ones which doesn't seem likely. To see more pics of Protoform Starscream, click here. Thanks to Daniel S. for the link and info.

  1. Too bad there isn't a close up of the Optimus voice changer, from what I've read it's shaping up to be a pretty bad ass toy. Still not sure about Megatron, though.

  2. Brawl reminds me of G2 Megatron. Even has the arm cannon.

  3. Still getting used to the red and blue intergration of Prime. I'm just so used to his upper body being red and his lower body blue. It's tough to see those two primary colors meshed together.

P.S. An add in last months ToyFare reads: "See the Transformers' new look in ToyFare #116. I can only assume we'll see some of the official versions of the toys that are being leaked now. ToyFare is in Comic Book stores on Feb 14 and at Newsstands Feb 27.

  4. Does anyone know of any website that has pictures of Bonecrusher? So far I've only seen the actual vehicle used for filming and the brief shot of him in the teaser trailer.

  5. personally, i think Jazz look's the muts nuts! looks like they cheated on his thighs tho... the lights on his thighs are supposed to form his tail-lights when in vehicle mode... yet take a look at his shoulders... looks like they're the ones that form his tail-lights... suggesting a very similar transformation to barricade!

  6. anyone got an idea as to how prime transforms? i think his feet form his grille (when in semi mode) and the wheel arches next to his calves house his front axle and tyres... yet when you look behind his thighs (his 'hamstrings') form his rear-end when in semi-mode... how the hell do they get all the way up there... without becoming dettached and re-attached... which would be very very lame! in vehicle mode, there's a big blue 'chunk' behind the smoke-stacks but where does this come from, as aren't his arms supposed to form the remainder of the nose of the semi? anyone... any clues??

and christ knows where the 'knee-guards' end up!

  7. This will be the greatest movie ever. I envision an Oscar sweep and millions of fans switching religion.

  8. oscar-sweep my arse!! do films like harry potter or american pie win oscars... no! truely deserving films such as the american pie franchise are never recognised... its always the shit produced from nonsense directors like her who did lost in translation!

although i am huge TF fan... its hard to belive that this fanchise will ever be uttered in the same breath by anyone remotely involved in the oscar nomination/deciding.

still... cannot wait for it's release tho... shame you lucky gits in the US get it a month before us here in the UK.

    roll out!

  9. I think I sharted during Lost in Translation. Not because I lack control over my motor functions, but because I found sharting more amusing than watching the movie.
