TFW2005 scored a few pics apparently during filming at Edwards Air Force Base. I especially like the one that shows all the Transformer vehicles in one shot.
hadn't even seen starscream in t background. t'is right tho, he would be huge compared. wikipedia says prime is 28ft, megatron 34ft and starscream 32ft so dunno if that is meant to be starscream in the background.
Well, fighter planes are astoundingly big and I would well imagine that it IS starscream's correct size. But then, the ~mass~ of fighter planes isn't all that big.
Optimus may well be a smaller truck, but he's a dense block of metal that could reasonably transform into a tall 'bot of destruction, whereas starscream has to extract legs and arms and torso from a thin cylinder.

The group pic is sweet, but that makes Starscream HUGE by comparison.
