Another day, another casting rumor. Instead of Jonah Hill its Australia's Teresa Palmer. The rumor from the Latino Review is that she has been cast in Transformers II. The role isn't specified though. She was previously rumored to be cast as Talia Al Ghul in the planned Justice League movie but that project has been so plague ridden that no one is even sure if its going to be made or not. Seems strange to me to cast a beautiful blond Australian for the sequel when Bay already has beautiful blond Australian Rachael Taylor from the first movie. As always this is just rumor until officially confirmed or denied.

ReplyDeleteI think this confirms that these are all misdirections by Bay. If he makes TF2 with a different Australian chick and a different "funny fat guy" character, the critics would pan it as being a rehash of the first movie. I mean, really - it does seem kinda silly to have, essentially, repeated character types. Bay may not be the best moviemaker in the world, but he's not dumb enough to do something like that. I really think this is all just misdirection.
