Transformers 2 Toys in Production

According to "Pascal" on the Cybertron Canada's forums, one toy for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen are now in production.
My source told me production for TF2 toys has just started! Only one toy for now, and it's leader class. Prime? Fallen? Starscream? Megatron? He doesn't know yet. The first few samples should surface sometimes in August he said... That's so early. He also said TF2 toys will be extremely difficult to obtain. We'll see, Animated samples seem to be harder and harder to find too
It is my understanding that for toys to make it to the shelves on time, they actually have to be at the production stage at least a year in advance. The final designs probably where decided a few months before so the production molds (which are expensive) can be created. In other words, not only are the toys probably in production, it wouldn't surprise me if they have been for a few weeks now as to make a May/June 2009 release date. What this means for us is possibility of design leaks in a few months to help us in figuring out what the official Transformers cast is and their alt modes are. Thanks to Kenneth for the link.

  1. I saw, a few weeks ago, on a website specialised in Transformers toys, (seibertron.com) that they were going to make a leader class starscream ! ... Maybe that's what your news is about ! Here is my source : http://www.seibertron.com/news/view.php?id=10304

  2. Not a leader class Starscream... They just use his image, so everyone would know, what toy series they were talking about. The first leader, that we will propably see in september is still a mistery. I bet is on "Blackbird Jetfire", or "The Fallen" :P Of course, if they for realy are in the movie :P

  5. Toys...

all of you 20-30-year-olds, grow up, please, and find a less redicoulous hobby than collecting toys.
And don't give me that bullshit that it's the toys that are the reason why transformers exists today, it's the popularity and the story-line and the limitless transformers characters that is keeping the whole ordeal up.

If anyone is going to defend their hobby of collecting transformers toys and respond to this message, well, congratulations for being a retard.

    Over and out!

  9. My local Target already has a leader class Starscream and the box art says "After the battle at Mission City which left Megatron destroyed, Starscream headed for a local power planet where he syphoned off enough power to repair himself and then took off into space searching for Decepticon re-enforcements to extract revenge on the Autobots back on Earth" or words to that effect.

  11. hi.. i'm a loser and hang out on the internet all day looking for a transformers blog just so i can make fun of transformers fans because i have no self esteem and really need to give myself a boost.. oh wait.. that's what that anonymous pussy said.

news flash fuck face.. transformers are nothing without product..
toys stop selling, hasbro stops making them, transformers die.

maybe if you weren't 12 years old you might understand the way the world works.

  14. Jesus Christ!!!!! Why can't people just respect other people's hobbies without trying to intervene saying that their hobby is wrong. If collecting toys is retarded, then why do they go for over $2000 when sold to right collector. So if you don't like what people do, THEN STAY OUT OF THEIR BUSINESS!!!!! by the way, I'm 27, have a wife, steady job, and I'm still a fan of Transformers since the day they came out, and always will be. So I think you are the one that needs to grow up.

  17. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've been an avid collector for over two decades. The first live action movie blew me away. When I first saw the concept art, I was a bit skeptical, but I was proven wrong.

My favorite toy (and he's still in his box) is the Ultimate Bumblebee. It rocks. Probably the most detail I've seen to date. And my TF just fwded me this site... I just watching him rotate all day long... roll out!
