I am convinced that truck is a Transformer. It’s been seen on two separate sets on two different coasts in the proximity of other TF vehicles. The cost of transporting the vehicle cross country isn't worth it just for Bay's nonexistent misinformation campaign. With the Trax and the pink truck in the same set, I am wondering if this disproves the theory that the Twins are the truck and later convert to the Trax and Beat. Maybe the vehicle is Kup. Way back in February, Bay had suggested there might be a "geriatric robot". Thanks to Michael for the link.
... Or mabey since the trax and the ice cream truck are on the same set, mabey this is where the twins get their new alt forms?

ReplyDeleteSomething's just occurred to me, although I support the possibility of the ice-cream truck being Kup... consider the colour scheme. I seriously doubt Kup would opt for an alt mode adopting Arcee's colour scheme. Considering the size of other Tfs in the first film... a motor-bike would jsut be far too small to be realistic, it'd just get stepped on. I do think, however, a small pink & white ice-cream truck would convert into the ideal size robot for Arcee, IF she's in the movie.
ReplyDeleteI was glad the pink 'bike wasn't opted for in the first movie but whether or not she shows up in the 2nd movie I don't mind... as long as there's plenty other bulky heavy TFs on show! It really would have been hard to beliebe the Autobots victored over the Decepticons if only 4 'male' Autobots and 1 'female' Autobot considering the size and bulk of the Decepticons, she would have looked puny (no offence to any female fans, I'm just relating to the leaked Arcee concept of movie #1).

skyfire IS going to be in the film, but a decepticon. that is just a transport plane for set pieces.

ReplyDeletei do have a theory on the Chevy Beat and the Chevy Trax...there's a street racing team lead by Autobot Big Daddy...two of the members are a twin pair of streetracers named Hubs and Greaser...the interesting thing is...one is green...the other is reddish orange...could this be identity of the twins (Beat and Trax)?...who knows...just having some fun theorizing...

The ice cream truck could be Alpha Trion. It would be a good way to include the geriatric transformer that Bay has mentioned but also a link into the story of The Fallen, if indeed The Fallen will actually be in the movie.
ReplyDeleteAlpha Trion could have desperately escaped exile and hiding on Cyberton to alert the Autobots to the impending doom for not only their home planet, but the universe itself with the return of The Fallen......just a thought.

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure, as someone else saud, that Ironhide being in that transport plane is not something being filmed, but rather that's how they got the truck to the air force base. However, the fikm supposedly opens in China, and the autobots had to get across the ocean somehow...
ReplyDeleteAlso consider that the ice cream truck is in the chinese city scenes filmed at the steel plant. So, if it's also at this airbase then, assuming it is a transformer, this location is supposed to be in China somewhere, or the ice cream truck travelled away from China with the autobots.
The transport plane carrying Ironhide is NOT Skyfire.
I don't see the connection people have tried to make between the ice cream truck and Alpha Trion or a "geriatric" autobot. Just because the autobot is old, doesn't mean his alt mode has to be old. I'm sceptical that the ice cream truck is an autobot at all. My skepticism stems from the fact that the ice cream truck is so filthy. It's also very goofy looking.

I think you guys are all looking at it the wrong way. Remember in Mission City how Sam stumbled and caused the Allspark to release its energy? That ended up creating several newly sparked bots, and they all had... unusual forms. It makes the most sense to me for the ice cream truck to be one of the Earth-born bots, rather than a Cybertronian Transformer.

Should be interesting. And yes, Trax is most likey Cliffjumper, Windcharger, or Gears. The Beat is Skids (a lesser know G1 bot) and they seem like the "immature kid" type based on their pictures that were recently released.
