Eight Dark of the Moon Toy Reviews
It seems that Transformers reviewer Peaugh has scored the mother lode of leaked toys from the Transformers: Dark of the Moon toy line as he has posted eight video reviews for the upcoming line. The reviews include a look at the Voyager Optimus Prime, Megatron and Shockwave along with reviews of the new Human Alliance "basic" class and three deluxe toys. It seems the H.A. basic class is a scout sized toy with tiny action figure that are sort of triple changers with a weapon mode that some voyager class figures can hold. For those wondering why Shockwave has a hose, it is likely a homage to the Generation One figure as he had a hose too but then it was for the practical purpose of getting power to the lights. Below are embeds or hit the links for all the reviews.

DOTM Shockwave Preview and Skids Review Videos
More videos for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon toys for your enjoyment. The first video is a preview of voyager Shockwave as the camera gets nice and close at at the big bad of the movie. The next two videos after that is a review of deluxe Skids broken down by checking out the vehicle mode and then the robot mode. (via Seibertron, TFW2005)

First Look at DOTM Shockwave Toys
With all the toy leaks it was just a matter of time. Thanks to members of ACToys (via Collecticon) we now have our first look at the robot and alt mode of Shockwave, the big bad of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The character is designed as homage to his Generations One look with Cyclops head and horn along with a purple color scheme now with an alt mode of a Cybertronian tank rather than his G1 alt mode of a Cybertronian gun. The switch to a tank alt mode is expected as that has been his most common alt mode since Transformers: Energon cartoon series. As a bonus, hit the links below for more images of deluxe Barricade, various DOTM legends class figures, Crankcase (possible other name of Dread Suburban) and more.

Peaugh's Human Alliance Skids Video Review
Peaugh has posted his review for Human Alliance Skids joining his previous reviews of HA Bumblebee and Sideswipe. He does cover Arcee, something that the other review didn't since apparently Arcee from the pictures is not Deluxe Arcee but one that comes with Skids. Considering the line retails for $29.99 (based on price saw for HA Bumblebee at Target) I guess that is to make up for Skids smaller size compared to BB and Sideswipe. Overall I am please with this Alternator inspired line but think will wait for sale prices before buying them.

Human Alliance Skids Video Review
Below is a video review of Human Alliance Skids in three parts. While the language is in Mandarin Chinese, transforming has no language barrier. The video gives you an idea of the toy itself and whether might be worth adding the purchase list. Part one shows the actual transformation, part 2 shows off the robot mode and articulation, part three is a five second video that shows off that pushing a button on top of the head makes the bottom of the mouth move. Ice Cream Truck Twins and Arcee Video Reviews
Peaugh strikes again (how does he get these toys first?), posting a video review of Deluxe Ice Cream Truck Twins and Arcee. The truck is a buy for me and Arcee (along with the other cycles) should be a pass for everyone. Thanks to Chris for the links.

Ice Cream Truck Twins Gallery
After a few posts of teases, TF08.net has finally posted a full gallery that shows off the Deluxe class Ice Cream Truck Twins that to be is probably one of the few must have toys of the Revenge of the Fallen toy line (along with Sideswipe and Ransack). Skids (huge left eye when facing him) is the front, Mudflap (huge right eye) the rear. Below are a few images with the entire gallery here.

Human Alliance Skids in Packaging
As hinted at in yesterday's Human Alliance Sideways images, The Arker has now posted their images of the Human Alliance Skids with Mikaela. Like the other toys, these are designed to allow the figure to fit in the car and on the robots shoulder. In addition, Mikaela can fit on Deluxe Arcee as a rider. Over all not bad looking. Human Alliance Skids Bio
Autobot Skids likes to think of himself as pretty capable, but the fact is Mikaela is a better driver then he is. With her behind the wheel, and him concentrating on squeezing every last bit of power out of his engines, even the fastest, most powerful Decepticons have trouble keeping up.

The Twins Headshots
Two more CGI images, this time from ACToys, to go with Scrapper. These are just the heads of Skids and Mudflap, complete with gold tooth. Yay, the Twins as Hollywood's vision of a southern redneck. That voice work will have to spot on because their design isn't doing them any favors. Thanks to Scorpio and ghola_tleilaxu for the links.

Third Human Alliance Toy IDed
Amazon, found via TFW2005, has posted the ID for the third human alliance toy for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toy line. The toy is oddly Skids with Mikaela, joining Alliance Bumblebee with Sam and Sideways with Epps. I would have thought that Arcee would have been a natural combo with a Mikaela figure. No picture or details yet but I assume this will be a wave 2 or three toy so probably not on store shelves until late summer.

Deluxe Skids Video Review
Below is a review video of Deluxe Skids, part of the Transformers 2 toy line. Over all not bad but I just can't get past the Gremlin head. Thanks to Phil for the find.

Autobots At Auto Show Videos
Last week GM debut its fleet of Autobots to the public at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show giving us a good close look at the Chevy Trax (Mudflap), Beat (Skids), Camaro (BB), Volt (Jolt) and Corvette Stingray (Sideswipe). We already got a look at some galleries, but now thanks to Schoop77 here are some videos to go with them.

Skids Bio Revealed

Because he is slightly less hyperactive than his brother MUDFLAP, AUTOBOT SKIDS has always thought of himself as “the smart one.” He likes to point this out at every opportunity. While MUDFLAP zips around like a maniac, AUTOBOT SKIDS prefers to impress his superiors among the AUTOBOT high command by behaving in a way he thinks of as mature, which usually involves talking nonstop about anything that occurs to him.Yeah, more I see and read about Mudflap and Skids, the more concerned I become. With these two characters, how much we like them will rely nearly 100% on the voice work so can't wait until those casting notes are revealed. Thanks to Chris for the information.
