The news is slow so not much to report on the Transformers 2 shoot front. On the bright side, Access Hollywood is reporting that Shia is doing well.“We’re both fine and Shia’s fine as well,” Lucas told Access Hollywood on the red carpet at Hayden Panettiere’s Whaleman Foundation Benefit at Beso in Hollywood on Sunday. “His hand is healing well.”
As the above picture from Socialite Life shows, Shia does seem to be doing fine with his wrapped hand and for the curious, you can listen to Shia's 911 call from Extra.
I guess that means that accident forced hiatus remains on track to start up again in a little over three weeks. I am not sure how the new schedule handles Shia's promotional stint for Eagle Eye coming out late in September. Thanks to site readers for the links.

I'm glad to see that Shia is doing better - I know that Shia wasn't drunk during this recent accident; however, if he can just leave that firewater alone, and get help for any issues he may have - then TF:ROTF will meet it's production and release deadline.
