Possible Pics, Hints of The Fallen? (Updated)

Merry Christmas! How about some possible hints and sightings relating to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for your holiday. LiningUpTV.com has posted the below pictures saying "found some pics from the Transformers 2 set. Looks like a new robot is discovered beyond a painted wall, Indiana Jones style. Is this the curled up remains of The Fallen?" From what I can tell there does appear to be robot like parts, a metallic skeleton like structure and maybe tentacles but really I am not sure what I am looking at. Thanks to Gregory and Mike for the heads-up.

In a related note, KevKev noted a rather significant similarity between the image that Megatron is bowing to (left) for the Defiance #1 cover and an image that appears on the various toy packages that were recently leaked (right). Specifically the eyes which look nearly identical. I don't think it’s a reach to assume those eyes and therefore the face is a representation of the Fallen character. Hasbro marketing isn't going to make that image central to their toy packaging otherwise. Also note that the background hieroglyphics in the packaging, indicating the far past and buried secrets, contains the Decepticon symbol. Maybe The Fallen is a secret buried on Earth and the above pictures are a part of that? Its all supposition and guesswork, but that is part of the fun.

Update: Thanks to Keith, below are some retouched photos that attempt to bring out a few more details from the images. I still can't really make heads or tails (or which is which) of what the pictures are supposedly showing.

Dude, it is the Decepticon symbol with glowing eyes.

  2. Maybe it's just me, but somehow it could be an entirely NEW storyline altogether. May have nothing to do with The Fallen. May be a brand new character a la Unicron when he was introduced. Now THAT was a real big surprise when that movie came out.

  4. yes the figure of the defiance cover is 90% the fallen . there is resemblance between the figure and the head of titanium Fallen .

  5. Fake: the wall is from Pompei (roman empire city settled in Italy destroyed by a volcano eruption), but the film was shooted in Egypt: different ages, different places, different styles.

So if it's real is an enormous historical mistake, and i don't really think so.

Guys, if you see the bottom right hand picture of the screen, you could see a skeletal "neck" coming out from the right, then going down and ending in a sort of like dragon looking skeletal "skull".

The tentacles that are referred to in the article could very well be tails. Maybe the "Fallen"'s alt mode is a dragon or some mythical creature. Bassed on the pictures we actually have NO idea regarding the size of the thing.

    Could be gargantuan.

  12. A giant robot behind the wall seems lame somehow.

Only humans would cover a dead robot with paintings of disciples or gay lovers or whatever those guys are. How did it get there? How did it "fall."

When Megatron crash landed, he landed right on top of it?

I can't wait for these details to become more clear.

  15. Okay, why do you all have to fuss about this? It says possible, it doesn't mean it truly is true yet.

Anyways, I found the one with the painting most interesting. I'm not sure if it's just random or not. But I think it's like...a symbol or something, or a code is within the painting. I don't know, but it's fun to ponder. (:

But, interesting finds! It keeps my poor mind thinking. Hope to see more updates. Happy Holidays!

  16. I've seen material from this source before they're from England and their big claim to fame has always been very grainy photographs claiming this and that, typical m.o.!
Usually their photographs are very old material from some other source such as a TF2007 movie youtube tribute videos and claiming they are for ROTF.
They are just looking to get hits on their website counter is all so ignore them.
In this day and age of digital clarity there should be no excuse for piss poor grainy images such as this, remember the bigfoot scandal from several months back ? I've had a 12 MP digital camera for well over a year that can take much better pictures than that jumbled mess of crap and if this person is legitimate they'd have the proper tools to take better images then all of those.
A healthy dose of skepticism is called for from the source of this information people!

The Decepticon symbol looks nothing like The Fallen.

Why do people have this fascination with a crappy character from a crappy Dreamwave comic storyline?

  18. Hi mister Center of the Universe a.k.a. selective realism!

The Decepticon symbol looks nothing like The Fallen.

And how do you know how the Fallen will look (if he will be) in the movie?

Why do people have this fascination with a crappy character from a crappy Dreamwave comic storyline?

Maybe because they don't think that it was crapy? Maybe there are people that have (WARNING, THIS MAY SHOCK YOU) diferent opinion from yours?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yeah man I agree... just because you worship some stupid monkey who turns into a robot, it gives you no right to diss an awesome character from the comics...

  20. From England? That's not correct. These guys are always at comic con in California and they are legitimate. I saw a video on YouTube they did about michael bay which admittedly sucked but they showed pics of the arcee motorbike months before anyone had it. This anonymous guy is prolly working for bay's people with false information like that. "England" rotflmao

  21. TF2: ROTF = EPIC FAILURE!

  22. i think the defiance #1 cover image of the mysterious gold tablet looks like a merge of the Decepticon symbol and Autobot symbol.

  23. In the fourth pic I noticed what looked like a robot face under the upper right part of the V in TV.com. It also appears to have a demon or dragon type skelital head, back and ribs under the "OM E" in .COM EXCLUSIVE. It looks like it is hanging down on its underside and looking up at you. It also looks like it may be a pic of some dead TFs or a nearly dead TF that is so statrved it looks skelital. Maybe it was fed by human worshippers who found it, fed it just enough of whatever it ate to keep it barely moving, and used it for some kind of benefit to whatever they were using it for. Just a brainstorm. Maybe it has something to do with the Allspark and it drew the Allspark to the earth in the firstplace somehow. Or maybe it came to earth first in search of the Allspark. Or may it was the source of the Allspark. We'll see.

  24. first of all; the pics don't seem to be from ROTF at all. I think they could be from terminator salvation :S or even if they are from ROTF, I think it could be jetfire. don't u think? crashed.. fossilized.. etc. and maybe sam and everyone help him out with getting an SR-71 or something :s well not GETTING it.. maybe taking jetfire to the museum or something. there were some reports long time back saying that jetfire would be sort of.. crippled or old? or with a stick? right? and that jetfire toy seems pretty old and evil.. and skeletal. I duno.. let's see.

  25. I have a feeling they're going to butcher the plot of this movie with all kinds of cliche devices.
Oh yeah, the Transformers built the pyramids. They were here when the Allspark first crashed down and decided not to leave our pretty planet because they liked the tiny natives who thought they were gods.
    Yaaaay.

  26. PLEASE DON'T F THIS MOVIE UP!, P L E A S E ........

not baaddddd! :P not bad at all! time to grow up, folks! can't stay G1... G1 ain't for movies. we need some serious deep stuff! :D

  28. These pictures prove nothing about anything that has to do with TF2-Revenge of the Fallen.

Only Transformer related material should be posted on this site. not paintings of dragons and ancient sculpture.
Or change the name of this website to: Transformers live action movie blog, and other stuff, that is interesting.

  32. Wait a minute, just a thought here, someone said something on here that they thought that Jetfire was "The Fallen". Now this got me thinking, if he was to switch sides, maybe it would be because of something the decepticons did to him, hence revenge, and that would mean that this figure behind the painting is jetfire, left on earth or buried because of the decepticons betrayal, hence the fallen. just some thoughts.

  36. repeat after me..... there is no character called the "fallen" in this movie....no way would bay use a character from an obscure comic as the main theme of the 2nd transformers movie...and no way orci or the other writers would introduce anything to do with such a silly thing as unicron or anything associated with unicron into a live action movie... when u guys realize this u may be disapointed a bit, but the movies will be much better without anything like that ....

  42. This is my first post here, but I'd like to add a few things...The Fallen is very essential to the lore of transformers because of the Unicron/Primus/Original 12 story...He makes a perfect stop-gap since Bay himself states that Megatron won't be around in this one...The awakening of The Fallen calls for the coming of Unicron, which will bring back Megatron...From the pics, I could see where it could be Skorpinok, since everybody wondered what happened when he dug back into the desert, which was in the Middle East...Also, I would look for Optimus to pass on in this one at the end...It may seem stupid to some, but I give you this to think upon...Why is it that the only one who seems to die and return is Megatron???I think that the same could happen to Prime, who would return as Ultra Magnus, while Meg turns into Galvatron...Since this is a message board with opinions, if you don't agree just leave it at that...Noting is worse than reading someone bashing another for an idea...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Just to clarify the rebirth of Optimus scenario...If you are fans of the new animated series(which I am because it's just a other twist to the story), then you noticed the Emperial Guard that comes to Earth: Ultra Magnus, Sentinel Prime, and Jazz...In this story, they show something that I always thought, that classes exist among them...Ultra Magnus isn't just some best buddy or loyal soldier, he ranks above the Prime class of Autobots...I also say Prime passes because the AllSpark is all but gone, leaving us with the next biggest thing, the Autobot Matrix of Leadership...

So now that the Fallen was confirmed to be in the movie, what will you say now you idiot?

    ReplyDelete
  45. OK ... So now that the Fallen toy has been leaked its pretty obvious we are looking at the deacticvated Fallen sitting on a pile of debris in Pic 4 and just a shot of his legs in Pics 2 ... JetFire is not the Fallen ... and as far as the poster is not the fallen just the Con symbol with glowing eyes .... Its the face of the Fallen ... which is coincidently what the Con emblem pays tribute to ... ... these were great pics from that site ... will be bigger now that people know what the Fallen looks like ... People dissing the site as Hacks should prob give an im sorry.

  46. lolz. I know now, as should you all by now. Its the remains of the Primes, the ancient ancesters who gave their lives to protect the matrix, therefore making this into a cavern in a way. That which it's known as the secret tomb of the Primes. A tomb, cause that is their bodies mangled up to create such a fortress. That is their sceletal brothers or ancesters Of Optimus, the one we all know about. We also know that this hidden tomb is in Egypt somewhere near the three pyramids. If I could find this location or place, I would dig in and find the matrix, if it's really in reality, untouched. :)
