All Three TV Spots in HD
From MichaelBay.com, here are all three new TV spots in HD for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Between these spots, Linkin Park's new song, new movie stills, and the start of the viral marketing campaign, it is pretty clear that the campaign to get seats into theatres for the movie has officially begun.

ReplyDeleteHey I noticed something in that scene where The Fallen teleports in. I paused it right before he shows up on screen and in that frame you will notice Jetfire to the far right of the screen. Also you can see Ironhide and Sideswipe right behind where The Fallen teleports in. Pretty freakin awesome scene.

Was waiting for a buffer and saw Bumblebee and company just standing around, then the refresh hit and he suddenly appeared. But you can clearly make out Sam and Mikeala to the right of Jolt, along with Ironhide, Sideswipe and Ratchet in the foreground with Jetfire in the back.
ReplyDeleteIF the script synopsis we read a few days ago is accurate (very big IF), that scene should occur with about 20 minutes or so left in the movie.
Should look great in the theatre. Thank God we only have 5 weeks left! The wait is getting terrible the closer we get.
skids voice actor sounds like the voice of booster gold sidekick in this weeks "batman: the brave and the bold".

Twins are to Transformers as Jar Jar Binks is to Star Wars. A complete joke. (Still dig their Ice Cream truck modes though)
Great work from the folks over at ILM though. The brushing/polishing up of the CGI is quite clear. Keep up the good work.
Don't care what anyone says but the movie looks impressive when it comes to the Transformers and the clarity & realism ILM along with the other companies working on this movie have been able to perform. It also looks like Bay might have improved on his camera work by a great deal since the first Transformers. Saw tons of stable shots with CGI in it so thats a good indication.
The Insecticons look pretty rad and so is Devastators transformation. A lot of cool glimpses at the progress they've made since the first one.
ilm did an awesome job the action scenes looks really sick, sideswipe rollerskating is awesome but shia ledouche screaming "Bumblebeeeeeee!!!!!!" omg shoot urself in the fucking head kid you cant fucking act!! fucking irritating...

i used logic and though why would they be diferent.....this is the first time we actually see Scanveger, HE HAS NEVER APEARED IN ANY FOOTAGE BEFORE, only Demolisher in the Shangai scenes

The novel isn't based on the movie, it's based on te first draft....things change

Demolisher and Scanveger are both RH400 ...it dosen't make that much sense being diferent caracters...that just confuses the audience

thats the thing about bay is that he thinks decepticons are beasts so he makes devastator walk on all four and will likely roar because this devastator is what bay sees when he thinks of the combined robots.

ReplyDeleteAnd to clear up the Demolishor/Scavenger debate I have a theory that's plausible. I'm not saying its right, just plausible.
(Demolishor is Shanghai, right?)
Demolishor gains his form of the RH400 and lands in Shanghai. Because he is prepared to form Devastator later in his life, he is the RH400. BUT Optimus beats the living metal out of him and so Devastator can't be formed. Scavenger comes along and says "I'll do it!" and so he becomes the RH400, (probably a different colored one that Soundwave scanned) and now they can form Devastator.
Tada!
And to clear up another few things...
-Jolt is not in the trailer. Someone misinterpreted him as Optimus. (somehow)
-@KirkH Ravage is big cat thing. No silver ballys. LOLOLOL
-Sideswipe is awesome and you know it KirkH.
Also a question- Will Skids and Mudflap have similar voices or not?

ReplyDeleteits entirely possible, Tom Kenny (spongebob) is a very accomplished voice actor who also does quite a few characters in Transformers: Animated, including Starscream and Jetfire.
I can't wait for Blu-Ray versions of this movie. I want to comb through all the fight and transformations scenes frame by frame.

Skids also sounds a bit like Chris Tucker. Mudflap is voiced by Anthony Anderson, the guy who played the hacker that ate all the donuts in the interrogation room (can't remember his name and too lazy to look it up). He's got a similar loud, high voice, but more raspy. Should be interesting to hear them arguing with each other.
ReplyDeleteI bet Tony Todd will voice Sideswipe - he's got that super deep, but slow and smooth voice. I'm getting the impression that Sideswipe is going to be the calm, collected quiet type who kicks major ass on the battlefield.
Also, there's a pic somewhere that shows Jolt and Sideswipe in the desert along with Ratchet and I think someone else. It's in that new batch of pics that were just released. So that means that the two of them make it all the way to the last battle.

it was flipped because in the original scene, when the people were pointing up to the sky, the Eiffel Tower is on the left, then when the protoform crashes through the top of the clock tower thing, the Eiffel Tower is on the right. So, the viewpoint was not accurate.

Maybe this is off topic..why so many ppl hate the first movie???, I saw in IMD (Internet Movie Database)& IGN, it seems many gave negative comments on Transformers. But still it considered being a high grossing movie. Well till now its the highest grossing movie in Malaysia.
