"Four years after the Battle of Chicago, the government is using reverse-engineered leftover technology to build their own Transformers. Joshua (Stanley Tucci) is an arrogant designer who believes the Autobots are "pieces of junk" and creating his own robots is a form of art. He's fills basically the same role as Agent Simmons from the previous trilogy.
Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) is a widowed inventor who lives in a farm with his daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz), unaware that she's dating a race car driver, Shane (Jack Reynor). Cade finds a piece of Cybertronian technology and takes it back to his farm, but it is accidentally activated, leading the government and alien bounty hunters to his farm. The bounty hunters (it's unclear if they're connected to the Decepticons) have antigravity weapons which they use to abduct Tessa. In another scene, an entire transatlantic cruise ship is raised out of the ocean and crosses through a busy intersection while the protagonists are in the middle of a car chase.
Sophia Myles is playing Darcy, Joshua's assistant and an archaeologist. Cade, Tessa, Shane, Joshua and Darcy are the main human character, and the main subplot is Shane trying to prove his worth to Cade. Also, Cade addresses Bumblebee as "Bee" and calms him down when Joshua trash-talks him, indicating he might be Bumblebee's new owner.
Titus Welliver's character, Savoy, is the leader of a team of agents sent by Harold Attinger (Kelsey Grammer) to capture the protagonists."

New Transformers: Age of Extinction Plot, Character Details?
Brazilian site Omelete has posted a new, more detailed description for the story and main human characters for Transformers: Age of Extinction. This has not been officially confirmed but does go along with previous synopsis, interview info and leaked information from the past few months so inclined to believe its accuracy. Below is a translation from TFW2005. Spoiler warning (just in case).

I can't get with humans making Transformers. That's crazy! That will be the big knock on this movie.
ReplyDeleteMeh I don't think it's that big of a stretch. I mean it's definitely safe to say that there is fragments of the allspark and Tformers lying around government facilities. Hence the fragment that got stolen in ROTF and the mass carnage that took place at the end of DOTM. No way the Autobots got it all cleaned up
DeleteTo be fair, attempts are being made on making Transforming Remote Control Vehicles. Therefore the story makes sense about about human engineering, I hope there's a Quintesson that appears in this (Unicron)Trilogy
DeleteThis seems like the plot from Transformers Prime, introduce human Silas, who took Bumblebee transformation cog, then from Starscream, and eventually took over Breakdown body after his body was damaged in an explosion. This may be a sign of Nemesis Prime (aka the Motor Master black truck in TF4), which Silas actually controlled that Transformer and built by humans.
ReplyDeleteNot crazy about humans building Transformers, that should be impossible if they are from seibertron. I don't know about that one, we'll see,
ReplyDeleteguys its time to get exited! 3 days left for the SUPER BOWL T.V SPOT!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the Autobots are getting their usual roles like in the last three movies.
ReplyDeleteif the humans end up making the dinobots...ugh
ReplyDeleteSpolier alert: This is on imdb right now, seems like megatron is assisting humans in creating transformers:
ReplyDeleteMegatron originally starts out as a head in an industrial complex. This pays homage to his Transformers: Animated (2007) appearance, where he started out as a head and developed technology to use to his advantage.
Seems plausibel
Mixture of transformers animated and transformers prime it looks like
ReplyDeleteThe rumor is neither compeletely false and completely true. We've seen Megatron's head and we know humans are creating artificial Transformers. But we don't know Megatron's true part in this movie or if he REALLY returns as Galvatron. But if those toy names appear to be real (we'll se that in March), then he really comes back as Galvatron.
ReplyDeleteThe part about the ocean liner sounds like an OH S! $@ moment. Looking fwd to the trailer. However, how can humans master the creation of Cybertronian technology???
ReplyDeleteif the Megatron head part is true, that's how they figure out the TF tech by learning from an actual TF itself. they scan his brain and get blueprints to his layout and use it to make their own TF. Makes perfect sense to me.
DeleteWasn't there something in TF lore about humans creating their own Tformers?
ReplyDeleteyeah in either season 2 or 3 of G1 humans made that female ninja robot iirc, and megs/galvatron tried to get it to join the decepticons... I can see there being human built transformers but they require the matrix or the unicron equivalent matrix/allspark to give them life
ReplyDeleteAlien bounty hunters? Now we know why there's a bounty of you-know-who-I'm-talking-about's head. And I'm sure Attinger and Savoy are in league with them.
ReplyDeleteBut I hope that the Dinobots are not the one created by Joshua and Yueming (Li Bingbing's character, if you don't remember). Although there two hints that they're not. #1: No one would create that cause too much attention. 2#: Dinobots have too primitive looking robot modes.
DeleteFrom what I've heard Grimlock will be in the super teaser as someone got to see it at the toy fair.
ReplyDeletei bet it's in the form of either O.P. riding on his back or his jaw snapping shut in front of the camera.
DeleteI bet it's an eyeball with maybe a snout
Delete@Anon 11:40 - That's somewhat right: there was a mad scientist type in G1 that made a ninja robot named NIGHTBIRD. She didn't transform - but the Decepticons stole her and used her for a short spell until the Autobots retrieved her.
ReplyDeleteIn another G1 episode, Spike got hurt real badly and either Bumblebee or Ironhide felt responsible: in response, Wheeljack gathered some spare Autobot parts and created AUTOBOT X. They also fused Spike's mind (Spike was in a coma) into Autobot X. Like many of Wheeljack ' s inventions, things went downhill and the project was aborted. Like Nightbird, Autobot X didn't transform.
I just remembered an episode of Prime where Silas engineered and built Nemesis Prime based on Optimus' schematics. After seeing that pic of Megs' head again, I possibly figured Bay would reference Dr. Sumdac's work with Megaton in Animated. Cautiously optimistic but looking fwd to it nonetheless.
actually sounds pretty stupid...
ReplyDeleteyour face sounds pretty stupid
Deleteyour mother is stupid you gutless pussy...
DeleteS7 had megs body and they studied it and never was able to make TFS...another fkd up bay movie
ReplyDeleteumm yah your talking about a movie only plotline...since you obviously can't remember some details they said today's modern technology came from studying him...that's called advancement in technology......another stupid person
ReplyDeletetrue dat..plus in TF1 they never said they was trying to make another
DeleteIs the ship going into the middle of the street a transformer with a hover ability? Or is it something else?
ReplyDeleteThis surely is another exciting and action packed transformers movie. Can't wait to watch it.
