Cybertronic Spree Announces Summer Tour

The Cybertronic Spree has announced a summer tour in various cities throughout Canada and United States including a stop at DragonCon in September. The rock band performs wearing mostly Transformers: The Movie inspired costumes with a mix of their original work, Transformers inspired music and covers of music from the 1986 movie. TRANSFORMERS ROCK BAND, CYBERTRONIC SPREE, ANNOUNCE PROGRAMMABLE READ-ONLY MEMORIES (P.R.O.M.) SUMMER TOUR 

Toronto, ON - July 21, 2026 - Heavy-metal rogue Transformers sensations, Cybertronic Spree, have announced a North American tour this summer, beginning August 1. 

The Programmable Read Only Memories Tour (P.R.O.M.) is a wildly unrestrained, mothertrucking rock opera that will unquestionably be the nerdy event of the summer.

This tour arrives just in time for the 40th anniversary of Transformers: The Movie, which served as the original inspiration for the band.

On the surface, P.R.O.M. is one, big, spectacular party, but this is actually Cybertronic Spree’s chance to change history and save humanity with the power of rock. This band of transforming misfits, armed with cummerbunds and corsages, are ready to sneak you onto their spacebridge and rock you with their tribute to heavy metal classics, hits from the Transformers: The Movie soundtrack, and their own brand of sci-fi metal.

“Proms can suck. Everyone knows that,” frontbot Arcee says. “Our P.R.O.M. tour has none of the flaws of human proms that have hardened you to the world”.

HotRod, bassist and leader of the band agrees. “It’s more than a concert. We’re throwing the biggest event we can fit on a stage.  If we can get people dancing, moshing, and singing along, Earth’s Programmable Read-Only Memories will be overwritten and maybe we can all catapult humanity back on track.”

The P.R.O.M. tour kicks off in Indianapolis, and includes major stops such as Chicago, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Atlanta, Nashville and Toronto.

Joining Cybertronic Spree for most dates on the tour is Spaceman Bob, the intergalactic punk band that has been popping up in unexpected places throughout the universe including on national television for America’s Got Talent in 2025, encouraging you to quit your job and spend more time enjoying your time in space. 

ybertronic Spree was built for one night only, and since then, they have toured across North America, playing shows with acts like Mac Sabbath, Protomen, TWRP, MC Chris and Electric Six. They’ve also had the honour of playing with Stan Bush and Weird Al Yankovic. They survived The Gathering of The Juggalos twice and have headlined international conventions like DragonCon and MAGFest. Cybertronic Spree have appeared on the cover of Transformers IDW #6 and have performed for Hasbro Pulse and Netflix.

Musically, Cybertronic Spree have released a full length tribute to Transformers: The Movie as well as their own original album, RAVAGE, a hard rock and synth-heavy journey through 80s inspired riffs, driving songs, and robot perspectives on everyday life.
