Cybertronic Spree Announces Summer Tour

The Cybertronic Spree has announced a summer tour in various cities throughout Canada and United States including a stop at DragonCon in September. The rock band performs wearing mostly Transformers: The Movie inspired costumes with a mix of their original work, Transformers inspired music and covers of music from the 1986 movie. Transformers: The Movie Soundtrack Suite Performed Live

Below is a video of the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra (Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife) from the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands performing the music of Transformers: The Movie live. The Transformers Suite was based on the movie score written by Vince DiCola who at the time wrote it using electronic synthesizers to compose the film's music which was an alternative score method used at the time.

Hearing it performed with a live orchestra is pretty unique and amazing. The suite was part of "Cyberpunk Remastered" concert held on September 23, 2022 at the Tenerife Auditorium as part of the 16th edition of FIMUCITÉ (The Tenerife International Film Music Festival) which just concluded its 17th edition this weekend.

Transformers Inspired Album Announced By Hasbro

In a out of left field moment, Hasbro Studios has announced that a new 10 track collection called "Transformers Roll Out" will be released on April 15 via digital music sellers with a limited edition CD and vinyl release for FYE stores. The music is from 10 rock, alternative and indie acts that were inspired by the Transformers franchise. Below are two tracks from the album, Gigantik and Roll Out which are also available to purchase as singles.
